Review Summary

Turbo Haüs is widely recognized as a staple Montreal venue known for its authentic, punk, and inclusive atmosphere. Visitors frequently praise the bar for its reasonably priced drinks, unique and cozy vibe, and its role as a supportive hub for live music, open mic nights, and local artists. While many guests describe the staff as friendly, professional, and welcoming, experiences regarding service and accessibility are somewhat inconsistent. Some patrons have reported issues with staff conduct, dismissive treatment, and concerns regarding physical accessibility, while others have noted frustrations with diluted cocktails during happy hour or unfulfilled expectations for televised events. Overall, the establishment remains a popular destination for those seeking a vibrant, community-focused space with a strong emphasis on live performance and local culture.

Really rude bartender, poured me a sour tasting guiness & when asked she be littled me. I work in service too & that wasn't cool.

Turbo Haüs has an incredibly authentic Montreal vibe. They are a great venue for concerts & are one of the last reasonably priced bars in Montreal.

Great place to see a show. But when i ordered a drink the bartender mistakenly thought i'd ordered two, & when i told her that i only ordered one she talked to me like i'm a child. I ended up paying for the extra beer & gave it to a friend to just end the interaction ( even though i definitely only ordered one drink). I'm not annoyed about the mix up but i am a bit annoyed that the bartender felt the need to talk down to me like that, it felt very unnecessary. But i do really like this venue & would recommend that people visit.

Nice bar but they told me they'd play the Victoire game & when I got there I was told they'd only play it until the Habs game started. I understand there's a lot of hype / $$$ around the Habs but I think it is disappointing a self-proclaimed queer / alt bar wouldn't prioritize women's hockey..

Went for a concert a few weeks back. Staff was super chill & friendly. My friend & I, both physically disabled, arrived early so we could get a good view of the stage (we're both short). We were sitting inside until it got closer to doors & the staff asked for the line to start outside so we went outside & were by the door. Entry was delayed by 45 minutes because one of the bands arrived late & by then we were both hurting from standing so we sat on the stairs by the door. Some guy who was apparently the owner rudely pushed through us & clapped at us to get up, repeating himself about 5 times as we struggled back up to our feet. We understood that those aren't seats but there was no reason to be rude & impatient with us. One of the staff was nice enough to ensure that we'd have our spot to let us go sit down but the experience ruined the start of our night. I tried to call in advance to ask/warn them of our situations & ask if they could provide anything but no one answered the phone. Definitely consider the accessibility of this place if you have any mobility troubles & the owners treatment of us alone put it at a 2 star rating.
