This Saturday, June 27, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., culinary collective Adeu invites guests to an immersive experience where gastronomy, design, and contemporary art come together for the opening reception of Montreal artist Olivier Rodrigue at 5638 Avenue du Parc.
The exhibition will feature ten of Olivier Rodrigue's works, including six being unveiled to the public for the very first time. At the heart of the space will stand a striking central installation: a large white oak table imagined and handcrafted by one of Adeu's chefs, who learned the craft of woodworking alongside his father. Created especially for the occasion, the table will serve as the stage for three original bites and a signature cocktail designed in dialogue with the artworks on display.

For this collaboration, curated by Gigi, Adeu approached each bite as a culinary interpretation of Olivier Rodrigue's artistic universe. A reimagined Quebec pork terrine inspired by the artist's signature shades of pink, a seasonal creation featuring Quebec vegetables and scallops that echoes the organic movement of his paintings, and a cherry and licorice dessert paying tribute to the bold red and black contrasts of his latest works come together to create a truly immersive tasting experience.
Priced at $35, the event marks a new chapter for Adeu as the collective continues to explore collaborations where food, art, and craftsmanship naturally intersect. More than just an exhibition opening, it is designed as a gathering place where people can connect, discover local talent, and share a meaningful experience in a welcoming community atmosphere. It's the perfect way to spend a summer Saturday in Montreal while celebrating the city's vibrant creative scene.
