Beautiful, healthy, nutritious, & vibrant plant-based food with lots of flavor! This is my new favorite restaurant in Montreal. The food is so good, it made me want to move here just to be closer. The vibes? Immaculate. Definitely recommend! So, picture this: I've been road-tripping from New York, & after four days, I desperately needed some good & comforting food. We always go for Indian cuisine, but this place? Totally next-level. Owner Mr. Abbe is a gem. We rolled in late, practically when they were about to flip the'Closed' sign, but he welcomed us with open arms the man even tweaked an ingredient just for us. Talk about VIP treatment! The food was on point-clean, flavorful, & super satisfying. None of that post-meal regret either; we left with very happy stomachs. If you're in Montreal, do yourself a favor & eat here. Seriously, your taste buds will thank you & this indian food will be next level for you to compare all other indian food against it.Voir plus

The food was 10/10 like eating at my Gujarati grandmas house. Our waiter was so genuine, helpful & kind. I would eat here everyday if I lived nearby! Best vegan keema matar I've had! I haven't had mango lassi in 15 years - it took me back to my childhoodVoir plus
A bit expensive & for taste I found parc side serves better than here.Voir plus
We are family of four from Toronto & frequently travelling across the country. We know some of the best restaurants in the North but rarely post any review. On the way from our last road trip we found this gem in Montreal & we decided to give it a try. TBH food was super delicious with a surprise twist & that made me to write this honest review. Must Must try - 1. Koshimbir 2. Stir fry veggies with house special ginger sauce 3. Vegan Butter Chicken 4. Vegan Chicken Biryani 5. Spicy/hot veggies Biryani 6. Chapati There are some rare gem of the dishes on the menu as well & we are going to try on our next visit. Thank you team "TULA" & you are doing great, keep going!! Conclusion - Highly recommended restaurant. Super friendly & knowledgeableVoir plus

My wife, 8mo old daughter, & I tried this place on a trip to Montreal. We left in awe of how delicious & innovative the restaurant & its owner are. We both tried a chef sampler & could not decide what we liked most. Everything on the plate was perfectly created & presented. Our daughter had a field day there too. Thanks again Abhi for such a memorable experience. You have a lot to be proud of. See you again soon!Voir plus

The menu has been carefully thought out, & it's likely the only one in Montreal serving Maharashtrian food without sacrificing its authenticity.Voir plus
This restaurant had by far the best vegan Indian food I've ever had. Not only did it have so many options from all regions of India but the owner Abhishek was incredible my friendly & kind. He spent so much time talking to & explaining the menu to each table. We truly loved our experience here & would reccomend this restaurant to everyone!Voir plus
I want to preface this by stating that I am a rare steak kind of girl. I am in no way vegan. I was going out with friends, two of which were vegan, but I love good food, & adore Indian cuisine so I was totally down to try this place. Did not regret it. It was our first time there, & the owner came over to our table & explained the entire menu to us, detailing every kind of dish (the Biryani is great, try it). The cocktails were delish & so many of the items were made in house. It was honestly amazing. These people have such a passion for their food, I did not miss the meat & would not hesitate to go back. This is honestly a gem of a place. Give it a try you will not regret it. Thank you for the lovely experience. I would post pictures but we were too busy eating.Voir plus

Tula is without a doubt my favorite restaurant in Montreal. I was in town for three months, & after my first time eating here, Tula became a weekly stop. It's not just the best vegan food I have ever eaten, but the best Indian food as well. Grandma's curry, the biryani, & any one of the three exceptionally creative desserts are especially worth tasting. The variety of flavors & the uniqueness of the dishes even make this a great place to take a non-vegan. The atmosphere is very pleasant & calming, & the service is outstanding: special shout-out to Abhi & Alina for their warm hospitality during my repeated visits. This is a must-stop destination for anyone coming to Montreal, & well worth going out of your way to experience.Voir plus
