Absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. The service was attentive without being overbearing & the food arrived promptly despite the place being quite busy on a Friday night. You can tell they pay attention to the details here, from the presentation of the dishes to the background music selection. It is a fantastic neighborhood staple that feels like a hidden gem. I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a reliable & high quality dining experience. It is easily one of my favorite local spots.

I have been coming to Tuck Shop for a few months now & it is consistently excellent. The atmosphere is warm & inviting without being pretentious, which is a rare find these days. The staff really knows their menu well & offered some great suggestions that I would not have thought to try on my own. Everything was fresh & prepared with genuine care. It is clearly a spot where the owners put a lot of heart into what they do. I will definitely be bringing my friends back here next time they are in town.

Solid choice if you are looking for somewhere reliable to grab a bite. The staff is very friendly & efficient, which is appreciated during the lunch rush. I have tried a few different things here & have never been disappointed by the taste or the freshness of the meal. The space is kept very clean & has a nice minimalist aesthetic that makes it comfortable to stay for a while. It is rare to find a place that maintains such high standards across the board. I will certainly be returning soon.

Decided to pop into this place on a whim after walking by it several times. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the service & the overall vibe. It is quite a cozy space, making it perfect for a low-key dinner where you can actually hear yourself talk. The portions were just right & the pricing felt very reasonable for the quality of ingredients they use. It is hard to find places that do the basics so well. I am already planning my next visit because I am dying to try the rest of the menu.

We worried it was going to be a other pretentipus meal, over priced meal when our server was describing a dusting of charred leeks, puffed barley & other things I didn't absorb
But omg our asparagus was fantastic as were our mains. The dessert with the rhubarb that looked like art.....phenomenal!;

Outstanding service by people who care, the teamwork was in evidence from our vantage point at the bar.

The full package at Tuck Shop, I'm glad I picked it at random on Google Maps.

Tellement belle soirée WOW! Ça prit que 8 minutes & j'étais charmée, le spicy marg, les pétoncles & les huitres… miam miam miam !
Le staff est vraiment attentionné &, ensemble, ils ont une belle chimie, ça se resent. Je me suis régalée du début à la fin. J'ai trop mangé, mais je ne regrette aucune bouchée. Merci à tout l'équipe, j'ai hâte de vous revoir.

One of the best dining experiences we've had in Montreal in a very long time !! Food was on point & the service was excellent. Ask for Marilie, she is a gem, had great recommendations & tips, the wine she recommended went perfectly with our meal & she has a great sense of humor!!
Marco is super kind & accommodated us on the terrasse despite being fully booked. In a series of disappointing dining experiences in the last year (mostly due to service), yesterday reinstated my hope in great restaurants & service ! Will definitely be back, thank you !!

They heat up a previously cooked steak using a microwave. The shrimp dish was grounded shrimp instead of real pieces of shrimp. The fried mushroom was just disgusting. I read the reviews & decided to go there, now I am convinced the reviews are fake. Terrible food. Never going back.
