I highly recommend the spicy tuna sandwiches; they're packed with flavor & spice. The almond croissants are wonderfully flaky & delicious, & the pistachio chocolate croissants are a must-try for anyone with a sweet tooth.
The food is espetacular & the space is beautiful, but I went there twice & these two times I had bad experience with staff. Some were very nice & polite, but others incredibly rude. I suppose it might have a correlation with the lack of tipping & the fact that there is table service. But that is a establishment choice, because I would be happy to tip & always do. Now the rude service is just unacceptable. Now, the food is great & I would recommend the salmon avocado toast, & the iced chai latte.

I recently visited Tommy Cafe & I was thoroughly impressed by their offerings & ambiance, though there was a slight hiccup with the timing of the service. We ordered a delectable chocolate almond pain au chocolat paired with coffee, & a savory chicken avocado toast among other items for a group of six. Each dish was prepared to perfection, highlighting the quality ingredients & skillful preparation. The service was commendable with attentive & friendly staff. However, there was a minor issue with the timing as our coffees were served well before the food, & unfortunately, they cooled down by the time our meals were ready. This didn't overshadow the overall experience, but it's something that could be tweaked for a flawless dining experience. The cafe itself boasts a cozy & beautifully decorated interior that adds to the charm & makes it a great spot for gatherings or a quiet coffee. It's a place I would definitely recommend & revisit, hoping for a little more synchronization between the kitchen & the barista next time
Such an amazing experience from start to finish! The cashier helped us choose our Favourit food as the menu was in French. We had chicken sandwich(not sure of the name on the menu) & ice latte. The coffee taste was also very rich & tasty. Would definitely recommend it to everyone. Also it has a nice design if you want to take pictures as a tourist 😊
We stopped by this cafe for breakfast & were very impressed. The food was really good. There was a big queue but it was moving fast. Seating was almost full but we were able to get a spot. The ambience of cafe is beautiful & service is fast. I would recommend going to this cafe.
such a great place!! the staff was super friendly & the food was great. I was also a fan of how friendly the atmosphere was. the place was packed so I shared a table with people I've never met before but everyone was so nice & I was able to get a lot of work done. definitely recommend & will be back!

Mon expérience chez Tommy Café pour le brunch a été absolument parfaite. L'ambiance était détendue & invitante, avec une décoration charmante qui ajoutait à l'atmosphère conviviale. Le menu du brunch était varié & alléchant, avec des options pour tous les goûts. J'ai été particulièrement impressionné par la fraîcheur & la qualité des ingrédients utilisés dans chaque plat. Les oeufs bénédictines étaient parfaitement pochés, les pancakes étaient moelleux à souhait & le café était délicieux. Le service était également impeccable, avec un personnel attentif & sympathique. Je recommande vivement Tommy Café à tous ceux qui recherchent une expérience de brunch exceptionnelle. C'est certainement un endroit où je reviendrai avec plaisir!
Tommy café is obviously a must if you are in Montreal. The place is gorgeous, the coffee tastes wonderful & the service is good. I'd say the only inconvenient is that it is a well-known place so it is often packed. I strongly recommend the avocado toast. They use thick slices of good quality bread, & the avocado is not over seasoned.
It is a beautiful café in British Empire Building. The surface is limited & it is so loud! I don't recommend it for business meetings. I was a little bit disappointed. I had Macchiato & it wasn't really what I wanted.
The place is pretty nice, the drinks are delicious. But they give you very hot drinks on glass cups which I basically burned my hand (so be careful or ask for a proper cup) 😅 apart from that it's pretty nice & recommended
Has a lovely time here. We were there on Sunday around noon & it was packed. It took awhile to line up but the coffee was quick. You need to find your own seat & it took some time for food to come out but they were super busy. Everything tasted great but the breakfast croissant & salmon avocado toast was amazing. Highly recommend as the atmosphere was great with friendly staff.
Regular coffee nothing special almond chocolate croissant very hard to bite or sliced with knife. Kinda stale & not flaky at all. Very loud & crowded. I would only recommend to go not peak hours to take photos because it’s very nice interior & vibe
