I've been here twice recently. Once I had an iced latte with an amandine, & it was delicious. I also tried a sandwich, which was good but nothing special. The café itself is beautiful & has a lovely atmosphere.

Tommy Café in Old Montréal definitely lives up to its popularity.

We had the spicy tuna sandwich & the salmon avocado toast, & both were fresh, flavorful, & beautifully presented.
The ingredients tasted high quality, & the portions were satisfying for brunch.

The café was very busy & we had to wait for a table, but the atmosphere made it worth it. The space has a stylish, vibrant design that fits perfectly with the charm of Old Montréal, making it a great spot to relax or catch up with friends.

Despite how crowded it was, the staff remained genuinely friendly, welcoming, & efficient throughout our visit.

If you're exploring the area & don't mind a bit of a wait during peak hours, Tommy Café is definitely worth stopping by for both the food & the overall experience.

Tommy Café has a great atmosphere with a beautiful interior that makes it a perfect spot to relax or catch up with friends. The food & coffee were both excellent, & the staff was friendly & welcoming. I'll definitely be coming back.

The food is very delicious & of high quality. But the place is absolutely chaotic with nearly zero service offered. It's usually very crowded & the customers have to lurk for a table or space to snatch! Tables are few inches apart. You may have to ask others to stand up & move their chair/table so you can reach your tiny spot. Then it might take you around an hour to get your food. The annoying thing is that you have to pay in advance, without experiencing anything of the cafe while they expect a minimum of 18% tip!

Stumbled upon Tommy Café last Saturday while exploring the neighbourhood & immediately felt at home with the warm lighting & low-key vibe. I ordered their avocado toast & it was honestly one of the better versions I've had in the city, perfectly seasoned with a nice crunch. The staff were super friendly & didn't rush me even though I camped out for a couple hours with my laptop. Definitely coming back next weekend, this spot has become my new favourite Saturday morning ritual.

Came here due to the good review & photos of nice decor. I would just end it there. Cute space, but underwhelming when it's always packed making it hard to enjoy the cafe. Waited over 30-40min for very mediocre food that I can make at home. I would pass on this place.

Young Aaron (but spelled differently, he wouldn't explain lol) was a great host in a bustling vibe of a great spot. Open windows out onto the cobble stone street & the world walking by was a wonderful way to dip our toes into the Old Montreal scene. We didn't realize until later that there were other Tommy Cafe's in town, but it didn't matter, this one felt like it was part of the history right there!
Everyone but me started with an iced Chai latte & they raved about them. I (being after lunch) started with their spicy bloody ceasar yum. I had the aurora bagel I think it was called, salmon on a perfect bed of cream cheese & an awesome Montreal bagel! My friend had the chicken & avo sandwich which he said was fresh & perfect & my kid swapped with me for half an avo sandwich. Every bite was delish. Walk the strip, then come back for a beer & bite in this fun little shop.
