Went with a friend for dinner - absolutely beautiful decor with moody lighting. Was attended to quickly for drinks, appetizer & main course. Didn't wait too long for the food, refills of water, or the bill. As for the food, really tasty! I got the ragu pasta & my friend got the prosciutto pizza. Would recommend & go again. My only complaint is that the food could have been a tad warmer.

My experience at Tiramisu turned out to be perfect!
I mean under normal circumstances I feel like my family & I were just had a very unlucky night, but the manager, Andy, made our experience very special.
I'll explain...
First we had made our reservations online for 3pm, but when we arrived the hostess kindly told us there must have been a mistake because the kitchen closes at 3pm & reopens at 5pm. It was a little inconvenient, but it actually turned out really well because we got to do a little extra sight-seeing & it made my Mother's birthday extra special:) When we came back at 5pm, a new hostess seated us at one of the booths at the back (I would strongly recommend sitting over there because the ambience is absolutely amazing!!! The restaurant has a beautiful vintage (70s-vibe) decor which we could really appreciate from that section.
So, as an appetizer we ordered the beef tartare & grilled octopus. My family was amazed by the texture of the octopus, & the tomato confit was spot-on, but honestly my favourite was the beef tartare!!! I mean the tartare was accompanied with these delicious deep-fried ginger-flavoured rice balls with fior di latte cheese inside & topped with a miso aioli! When I say they were amazing, I mean they were absolutely a-m-a-z-i-n-g. They really captured the Japanese-Italian fusion! I would have bought the dish again just for the the rice balls🙂
For our main course we ended up ordering one al ragu, one al tartufe & one piccante. I was the one who ordered the al ragu, but unfortunately I just didn't like it...I found the sauce was too watery, I would have liked to it is purred & topped with meat chunks because sauce was too liquids & I found the taste a little bland. But I understand it is probably just a personal preference. What I really appreciated was when Andy saw our table he was very accommodating & genuinely nice about the whole situation. He kindly asked me what I wanted instead, & the al tartufe was everything I wasn't in a pasta...it was creamy, well-seasoned & very flavourful:) I couldn't have need more pleased!
Finally, for dessert we really wanted to get the tiramisu (I mean how can you not get tiramisu at tiramisu) but unfortunately the waiter told us they ran out of tiramisu...the irony was the highlight of our night-but it really made it special. Instead they put a sparkler on tiramisu ice-cream & gave us some shots for my Mother's birthday! All of our experiences at Tiramisu made our night unforgettable (in a good way) & I think we will be back soon!!:)
Issues arise in any restaurant, but it's the way the staff deals with them...that's what makes the restaurant really good. The staff at Tiramisu were really friendly, & super accommodating. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone, it was an unforgettable night & one that really made my Mother's Day special. Thank you so much, we appreciate everything:)
Great service & decor but the food was underseasoned & disappointing overall. Biggest letdown was the tiramisu dessert, especially for a place named like this restaurant.
I really wanted to like this place, unfortunately I will not be back
Decor was very nice & good menu choices. However the service was not great. On a Friday night there were only about two waiters for the whole place & the food took forever. We were there for two hours before getting our main courses & only one person at the table got their food & everyone else's came 20 minutes later. Only when we asked the host about our food did they come & give us a time estimate & apologize for the wait Nobody checked on us for an hour & a half between when we ordered & when we got our food. Food was alright but the restaurant is very understaffed so anticipate being there for three hours.
So disappointed by Tiramisu! So loud you barely hear the person in front of you
Pro: food, cocktails, décor (minus the graffiti) : Cons: LOUD LOUD LOUD
Will not go again.
Chef Chanthy Yen is a master & I wanted to try Tiramisu because he worked on the menu & plates. Overall, I will never go again in this LOUD restaurant. People at other tables were either screaming at themselves, or just stay silent like the table of 5 I could see from my seat.
FOOD: it's a pizzeria with influences of Asian cuisine. Very good plates presentation. & it mix well. The pizza dough was nice & airy, flavors were there, interesting combination of mortadella & truffle oil. I recommend this plate. The Tonkotsu was good, but it missed some punch. Pork meat was dry so a little less cooked would have been excellent. Missing a little spicy flavor that would kick just a little (& I'm not a fan of hot dishes). My favorite dish was the Tiramisu for dessert. Light, great coffee flavor.
Drinks: fair on alcohol, & balance between acid, sour, umami & sweet. Definitely you have to try one cocktail.
Ambiance: there is a DJ playing music you could hear on a fashion defile. Loud, rhythmic, & after 2h, you're feeling you've heard quite same song since the beginning. The décor is modern, with concrete surfaces that enhance echo. People come here for drinks & food & get to shout at their friends / partner to be heard. We came at 7, sound was 82dB. At 8pm, it averages 87-88dB. Improvement required here.

Amazing Decor !
Menu & wine list a little limited but the food was excellent! the fusion between Italian & Japanese was awesome! Best arancini ever!! & the tomato sauce was authentic & purely traditional! Bravo!!
We loved our night at Tiramisu! Le ambiance & the decor is astonishing - I've never seen so much marble in one location. The attention to details by the owners is also impressive - the melting candles, the italian statue with japanese-style tattoes, the grenery, etc. The staff was extremely attentive - we followed their recommendations for cocktails (Garibaldi), wine by the glass (both natural wine), & had the sushi-arancini & tartare, olive/fennel salad, margarita pizza & the mortadelle pizza to go. All delicious! We highly recommend & will be back soon!
