Went there to celebrate a birthday with around 6 other people. We were all well greeted & treated. Seeing as the weather is unforgiving & cold, we were all thrilled to find out there was a place to leave our coats & boots right at the front of the store. Upon asking for our table, we were immediately able to get directed towards it & were instantly seated. The staff were very understanding of the different requirements we felt we needed. If you want them to sing for a birthday, just ask them! They'll gladly do it &, although we didn't ask for it, it was fun seeing the people who did have a lot of fun & joy in their faces. The food was wow. I didn't know what to expect because that fusion wasn't one I had heard of beforehand but jeez Louise was this splendid. The pizza I had was very tasty & nourishing. Almost didn't have room for my dessert!
Overall an amazing experience!! 10/10 would recommend!View more
My husband & I went for New Year's Eve. We sat at the bar. The bartender/waiter was great. We ordered the special menu, all the plates were great, the mamma mortadella pizza was fantastic. The only plate we didn't enjoy was the tiramisu dessert, I'm Italian & that was NOT tiramisu… other than that everything else was great & would definitely recommend :)View more
Food was decent but service was great! It seemed to have only one server available & she noticed our food was taking long so they comped our dessert! :)View more
Tiramisu in Montreal offers a warm & inviting atmosphere with friendly service & a menu that captures the essence of Italian cuisine. My dining experience was enjoyable overall-the savory dishes were well-prepared, flavorful, & thoughtfully presented. However, given the restaurant's name, I had high expectations for the tiramisu, & unfortunately, it didn't quite meet the mark. While the texture was decent, the flavors lacked the richness & balance that make tiramisu a standout dessert. It could use a more pronounced coffee taste & creamier mascarpone to truly shine. That said, the experience was still pleasant, & I'd be happy to return for the main courses. With a bit of work on their signature dessert, Tiramisu could easily become a top choice for Italian food lovers in Montreal.View more
View more
We ordered cocktails, the cacio e pepe pasta, & the boeuf & shishito pizza. All were absolutely delicious. The restaurant is beautiful & convenient location. We were though very disappointed with the service. It took 20+ minutes to get drinks, we were rarely checked up on & at one point our server disappeared completely & another started somewhat looking after our table. We were here for my girlfriend's birthday, & I saw some tiramisu's come out to tables with a sparkler, so I made a note to our server that we were celebrating a birthday also. Eventually a tiramisu came to our table without request, which was nice, but no sparkler. & then it was charged to our bill, even though we didn't actually order any dessert. No "happy birthday", no "thank you for coming", no "how was everything", nothing. Just given the bill after waiting 30 minutes at an empty table, & finally having to request it from yet another server, without a word spoken to us. We flew here from BC & I felt it was a disappointing way to celebrate my partner. Such a mix of emotions. The food was so good but we left sad.View more
First & foremost, the aesthetics of this restaurant were absolutely gorgeous & staff was very personable. Not only that, the appetizers, mains & cocktails were phenomenal too. Unfortunately the namesake tiramisu dessert left a little to be desired taste-wise but that may have been a fluke in an otherwise great experience.View more
Very nice place in the Chinese neighborhood. We went for lunch, so the menu was limited but it was really enjoyable nonetheless. Dishes were very good & a great quantity, it is really worth the trip ! I recommand the Cacio e pepe (so good) but the pizzas looked amazing also ! The Tiramisu latte was SO GOOD but maybe a bit small for the ratio of cream to coffee, so maybe take the dessert instead of the latte !View more
Très joli restaurant. Belle ambiance.
View more
The food was really great, portions were awesome. However, the service was seriously lacking. Upon arriving, the hostess was not polite & very cold. Moreover, our waitress never came back to see if we were enjoying our food, or to see if we needed anything else. We were told there was another reservation at 9:30pm, & at 9pm the waitress came over about the cheques, without even asking if we wanted dessert. Overall, the food was great but the service needs improvement
I’ve never given 5 stars for every category of criteria on Google before but this restaurant really deserves it. Everything about this establishment is great. From the food to the service & the atmosphere. Let’s start with the food, the il classico pizza is fantastic, the branzino my wife had was very, very good according to her & the tiramisu dessert was one of the best we’ve ever tasted. Originally, I didn’t think I would enjoy the tiramisu because it contains some Japanese whiskey but it wasn’t even detectable after the first bite. My wife is Italian & we’ve lived in Italy for 15 years & my favorite dessert is tiramisu & I’ve always compared the tiramisu in restaurants to hers & this was just as good if not even slightly better. The pizza too was like you get in Naples, Italy, so very good. We’re here in Montreal for 3 nights & we will definitely be going back to Tiramisu (restaurant) again. Can highly recommend this place. Oh, as for the service, Melissa was great. Very attentive to our needs & very friendly. Everything 5 stars. Don’t hesitate in going to Tiramisu!View more
Would have given 5 stars if the waiter had informed us about the kitchen closure & had requested us if we wanted a dessert. We really wanted to finish our thanksgiving dinner with a nice dessert & we felt that the waiters wanted us out even if it was not late.
My experience at Tiramisu turned out to be perfect!
I mean under normal circumstances I feel like my family & I were just had a very unlucky night, but the manager, Andy, made our experience very special.
I'll explain...
First we had made our reservations online for 3pm, but when we arrived the hostess kindly told us there must have been a mistake because the kitchen closes at 3pm & reopens at 5pm. It was a little inconvenient, but it actually turned out really well because we got to do a little extra sight-seeing & it made my Mother's birthday extra special:) When we came back at 5pm, a new hostess seated us at one of the booths at the back (I would strongly recommend sitting over there because the ambience is absolutely amazing!!! The restaurant has a beautiful vintage (70s-vibe) decor which we could really appreciate from that section.
So, as an appetizer we ordered the beef tartare & grilled octopus. My family was amazed by the texture of the octopus, & the tomato confit was spot-on, but honestly my favourite was the beef tartare!!! I mean the tartare was accompanied with these delicious deep-fried ginger-flavoured rice balls with fior di latte cheese inside & topped with a miso aioli! When I say they were amazing, I mean they were absolutely a-m-a-z-i-n-g. They really captured the Japanese-Italian fusion! I would have bought the dish again just for the the rice balls🙂
For our main course we ended up ordering one al ragu, one al tartufe & one piccante. I was the one who ordered the al ragu, but unfortunately I just didn't like it...I found the sauce was too watery, I would have liked to it is purred & topped with meat chunks because sauce was too liquids & I found the taste a little bland. But I understand it is probably just a personal preference. What I really appreciated was when Andy saw our table he was very accommodating & genuinely nice about the whole situation. He kindly asked me what I wanted instead, & the al tartufe was everything I wasn't in a pasta...it was creamy, well-seasoned & very flavourful:) I couldn't have need more pleased!
Finally, for dessert we really wanted to get the tiramisu (I mean how can you not get tiramisu at tiramisu) but unfortunately the waiter told us they ran out of tiramisu...the irony was the highlight of our night-but it really made it special. Instead they put a sparkler on tiramisu ice-cream & gave us some shots for my Mother's birthday! All of our experiences at Tiramisu made our night unforgettable (in a good way) & I think we will be back soon!!:)
Issues arise in any restaurant, but it's the way the staff deals with them...that's what makes the restaurant really good. The staff at Tiramisu were really friendly, & super accommodating. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone, it was an unforgettable night & one that really made my Mother's Day special. Thank you so much, we appreciate everything:)

Great service & decor but the food was underseasoned & disappointing overall. Biggest letdown was the tiramisu dessert, especially for a place named like this restaurant.
I really wanted to like this place, unfortunately I will not be back
The drink menu was very eclectic as well as the dinner menu. A fusion of Italian & Chinese as there was miso in a lot of the dinner items. Having a soy allergy it was challenging but there were items on the menu that I could have. WONDERFUL tiramisu dessert (as one would hope as it shares the name of the restaurant). A cozy spot so be sure to make a reservation online!
The experience was a little underwhelming - the food was okay, & for a resto whose name is "Tiramisu", the dessert is very subpar. I have had better tiramisus in many other places in Montreal & left dinner simply feeling "meh".
Everything was amazing & delicious. We had a salad, pasta of the day, a negroni, & tiramisu for dessert. I have no complaints at all! I really recommend trying this place!
So disappointed by Tiramisu! So loud you barely hear the person in front of you
Pro: food, cocktails, décor (minus the graffiti) : Cons: LOUD LOUD LOUD
Will not go again.
Chef Chanthy Yen is a master & I wanted to try Tiramisu because he worked on the menu & plates. Overall, I will never go again in this LOUD restaurant. People at other tables were either screaming at themselves, or just stay silent like the table of 5 I could see from my seat.
FOOD: it's a pizzeria with influences of Asian cuisine. Very good plates presentation. & it mix well. The pizza dough was nice & airy, flavors were there, interesting combination of mortadella & truffle oil. I recommend this plate. The Tonkotsu was good, but it missed some punch. Pork meat was dry so a little less cooked would have been excellent. Missing a little spicy flavor that would kick just a little (& I'm not a fan of hot dishes). My favorite dish was the Tiramisu for dessert. Light, great coffee flavor.
Drinks: fair on alcohol, & balance between acid, sour, umami & sweet. Definitely you have to try one cocktail.
Ambiance: there is a DJ playing music you could hear on a fashion defile. Loud, rhythmic, & after 2h, you're feeling you've heard quite same song since the beginning. The décor is modern, with concrete surfaces that enhance echo. People come here for drinks & food & get to shout at their friends / partner to be heard. We came at 7, sound was 82dB. At 8pm, it averages 87-88dB. Improvement required here.
