I loved it, original & delicious author versions of some traditional Peruvian dishes. We tried four tapas, & all of them were awesome, I can't say anything negative. The price is more than adequate for this level of food. I liked the ambience, just a huge bar, (almost?) no tables. Perfect lighting, great service.
We had the most fabulous experience at Bar Tiradito. The food was incredible, each dish was a thoughtfully prepared, well balanced & beautifully plated. The night was made even better by Sam, he was not only our server but plating up dishes, suggesting wines all done with his friendly & energetic energy. A must try!!

Dear Tiradito,
I just want to start off by saying: YOUR FOOD & COCKTAILS ARE AMAZING!! The plating & presentation of each dish is visually appealling, the flavours are fresh & yummy, & your sours are second to none!
However, a bit of a damper was put on the whole evening with regards to service. It took away from the rest of the evening unfortunately.
We were greeted on time & given water, but then it was a bit of a wait to order drinks. The people beside us already got their food by the time we finally recieved our drinks (& they arrived the same time we did).
The drinks were so good though, when we did get them, for the record.
We were able to place our food order after a bit of time, & we received all our dishes correctly. However, once we recieved our food we never heard from our bartender/server again. Nothing was quality checked, & we would have LOVED another drink, but we weren't spoken to or acknowledged after that. I had to flag him down just to get the bill as it appeared we would be waiting forever if I hadn't.
Keep crushing it with the food & drinks - the highlight of our evening!
Fabulous food. Fun ambiance. Chaotic though. They never brought one of the dishes we ordered. & they charged us for it plus two dishes we never ordered. They fixed the bill for us & we suggest everyone should check their bill before paying.
great experience overall - uneven food quality, some dishes are exceptional (ceviche, pieuvre, while others fall flat (like dessert, avocado & the chicken dumplings). fabulous cocktails & atmosphere
Restaurant with good vibe & good food. Servers are friendly. Must try dishes include Causa de crabe, Anticucho de canard & Anticucho de peuvre. Pisco Sour is our go to cocktail. We never had a disappointing meal at Bar Tiradito
Best food I've had in a LONG time! Mind-blowing! & the service was incredible. They even make some of the dishes right in front of you, all while taking orders/making drinks. Seriously impressed with this place & would highly recommend to anyone visiting Montreal!!! Made our trip!

Wonderful venue, great for couples. Bar only seating, which is fun if you like watching chefs at work, which we do. Ceviche was as good as I had in Peru, other dishes ranged from authentic to imaginative, all that we had were great.
We were seated at the bar & had a fantastic experience. The food & drinks were amazing. The food does come out fast so pace yourself when ordering & enjoy a couple of dishes at a time. Jacob the bartender makes the best espresso martinis & did it with tequila. Highly recommend & will def return on our next montreal adventure.
Food is great as usual but service wasn't. All the dishes came out as once, very rushed. She was eager to go home! Our reservation was at 9h30 & at 10h20, she told us last call for anything. This is Saturday night in Montreal!

Hats off to everyone & the head chef whoever she/he is. This Peruvian/Asian fusion/combo is so creative & delicious. The dishes blew me away.
The cocktails are amazing too.

My partner & I were looking very forward to visiting your restaurant as it came highly rated online. & while the ambiance was original & the food was excellent, the service was awful. It wasn't at all busy yet no one seemed to care whether we were there. No one person was in charge of taking our food & drink orders. No one cleaned up our dishes, asked us whether we wanted dessert or coffee. After waiting a while, we simply paid online & left. Not one person asked us how it was, said bye or even noticed that we were leaving. I've never experienced that kind of service before. Weird.
This place is such a gem! The dishes are creative & wonderful to look at but most importantly they are absolutely delicious. Every dish we chose was incredible, the more adventurous that we got, the better. We will definitely be back. It's a great place for a date or with a small group of friends. Make reservations so that you don't lose out!

What an amazing experience! The atmosphere was lively (even at 5:30 as we had a show to attend afterwards ), the concept of seeing your food being prepared in front of you while sitting at the counter was a pleasure & more importantly the food was phenomenal! We asked Sam, who prepared our food, to recommend the top dishes & he didn't disappoint. The crab, octopus & ceviche dishes were perfection. A great night!
Incredible food & cocktails. Everything was delicious & I really hope to try it again. The service was however horrible. Our dirty dishes would not be picked up, I had to chase someone down for extra cutlery & to get our table cleaned after a spill. Its a tapas style restaurant where they don't even provide serving spoons...We waited about 20-30 mins between each plate. This was more understandable given limited kitchen staff, but the wait staff really didn't seem to care. The nice Guatemalan man making cocktails was the only employee keeping an eye on us even though he wasn't a server.
We are from Vermont & Tiradito is 2.5 hours away in another country. It remains our favorite Montreal restaurant & we were so glad to get to revisit a couple nights ago. It amazed us as usual. We arrived 15 minutes early for our reservation & apologized for being early. The hostess enthusiastically said, "no, we were waiting for you." We were immediately seated & had an amazing array of dishes we have so missed since the border was closed due to Covid. Thanks for being there & for the amazing dining experience. Can't wait to come back.
We asked the waiter to choose dishes for a table of 6. We gave the restrictions we had & he did a wonderful job. Each was as delicious with the highlights being the duck, ceviche & pork belly. Service was very good & surprisingly adopts able foe a tapas place.
