On y était pour regarder un match du Canadien. Honnêtement, pas pire comme bar sportif! Belles installations, avec suffisamment d'ècrans pour observer le match peu importe l'angle. L'endroit est neuf, propre & confortable. Menu un peu cher si on compare avec la compétition, mais correct somme toute. Burger au poulet épicé très bon! Ailes de poulet solides. Bon service!
Sans être impressionné par quoique ce soit, j'ai eu une expérience sans reproche, & je suis très satisfait.

Although not as big of an arcade as the other Rec Room locations. This location still offers a wide variety of games, including a bunch of VR games. Great for family, friends, or date night type of vibe.
Very friendly place to hang out before/ after a movie or again after a shopping session. Lots of activities at affordable prices. It's possible to eat or order something to drink which is a plus versus other cinemas.

I had a good time with a large group including kids/teenagers on Friday night.
Positives:
- Food was surprisingly good. Tried the Cobb salad, fish tacos, nachos, desserts. Much better quality than Le Cage.
- Nice vibe. Great the kids could play games while enjoying a beer & free popcorn.
- Screens to watch the hockey game.
- Free parking.
Improvements:
- Service. Waiters understaffed so water barely refilled. A couple of orders took too long to fulfil, including missing appetizers, & cold food. Though they were gracious enough to refund the orders.
I found it bizarre there were a lot of bus boys/girls on the floor but the waiter had to be the one refilling water.
- No sound to the hockey game, even after the live band.
Overall positive experience, but I'd come back more often with friends if there were hockey/sports nights with the sound on. I think you're competing with le cage, Boston pizza & the likes especially on a week night. Your food is definitely better than the others.
Franchement, le Rec Room Royalmount m'a fait penser au Midway de Clifton Hill à Niagara Falls ! Il y a une tonne de jeux d'arcade modernes super amusants & une belle ambiance pour une sortie en famille ou entre amis.
Ce qui a vraiment fait la différence, c'est le service. Les employés présents autour de 19h30 étaient exceptionnels ! La fille à l'accueil a été super patiente & a pris le temps de répondre à toutes nos questions. Une autre employée, qui s'occupait des machines, a été très professionnelle & gentille avec mon fils quand il a eu un problème. Même le gardien de sécurité était bienveillant & très réceptif à nos questions.
Côté prix, c'est vraiment raisonnable comparé à d'autres places, surtout qu'on peut gagner des prix avec les points accumulés. Je vous conseille d'acheter pour 100 $, ça vaut la peine ! & si vous ne dépensez pas tout, vous pouvez garder le reste pour une prochaine fois, ce qui est un gros plus.
Petit bémol : la cantine manque clairement du personnel, ce qui fait que le service est lent & pourrait être amélioré.
Sinon, cet endroit a énormément de potentiel pour organiser des fêtes d'enfants ! Avec tous les jeux, l'ambiance dynamique & la possibilité de gagner des prix, ça rendrait une fête super amusante & mémorable.
Bref, une super belle découverte, je recommande vraiment !
Le REC Room Royal Mount est un bel endroit avec une ambiance animée & une grande variété de jeux. Cependant, il y a quelques points négatifs à noter. Les jeux populaires sont souvent inaccessibles en raison de la foule, ce qui peut être frustrant. De plus, les jeux sont trop rapprochés, rendant l'expérience parfois désagréable car on se marche souvent sur les pieds. Enfin, les jeux sont assez chers, ce qui peut être un frein pour certains visiteurs.
