The Keg Steakhouse + Bar opened the doors of its first restaurant in 1971 in Vancouver. Since then, The Keg has expanded across Canada and the US to include over 100 locations. L'une des meilleures, sinon la meilleure expérience culinaire que j'ai pu avoir. C'était ma première visite & j'ai été très agréablement surpris. La douceur des mets, la consistance de l'assiette, ainsi que la qualité du service ont achevé de me convaincre. Je recommande l'assiette de calamars frits en entrée, ils sont très savoureux. En plat de résistance l'assiette de Bifteck de côte ou le contre filet en croûte au poivre (New York au poivre). J'ai manqué d'espace pour le dessert 😅. Je recommande fortement ce restaurant. This Keg location is our favorite. The restaurant is beautiful & well decorated. Ambience & staff are lovely. The food is always delicious, everything is perfectly ptepared, cooked, plated & served. The staff work very hard, they are pleasant, & you can see that they have a seamless system. It is all a beautifully orchestrated symphony. This restaurant is on top of it all. Someone is making sure the wine glasses don't have spots, if they do, someone comes & polishes them. In the washroom, someone is wiping down water that has splashed on the counter, refilling hand towels, everyone is always smiling sincerely & it is just the best place ever. I recommend this restaurant & specifically this location to everyone. A special Merci to Frederique who made our Valentines Date even better with her attentiveness & sweet personality.View more

January 2024: UPDATED REVIEW As a customer who dines at The Keg St-Bruno & PVM 2-4 times annually, I'm always impressed by the restaurant's consistency in terms of food quality & service & have never been disappointed. Last week's visit proved otherwise. Service was courteous & food was prepared to perfection as always. However...the portions have definitely been reduced! We immediately noticed the smaller bread size, my Sirloin Oscar was much smaller compared to last visits within the past year. My sides consisted of 1.5 tbsp of mushroom rice next to 6 small pieces of vegetables (my husband got 7). The side order of mushrooms was half compared to past visits. This was the first time my husband & I actually finished our plates at the Keg as we've always taken home leftovers. Shortly after placing our order, our waitress switched to another section & our appetizer salads were forgotten & wine glasses left empty. This was the first time we felt rushed at The Keg. We hope this was simply an isolated incident & the result of an off night, which is unfortunate at a cost of $200 for what should be nice relaxing dinner. July 2023: The Keg never disssapoints! Sirloin Oscar with mushroom rice for me: phenomenal! Mushroom rice is now my favorite Keg side. He had the New York striploin, with pepper side, which is his new fave. This was our first time at the St-Bruno location, as we normally dine at the PVM location. Service & ambiance are equally superb. However, customer base is very different.View more
