Had a great experience at The Keg. The bifteck du côte was amazing, perfectly cooked & full of flavor. The cheesecake was also excellent. We started with the calamari, but unfortunately can't say the same - it was a bit dry & the sauce served on the side was not very good. On the positive side, the service was amazing & they also have a very good wine selection. Overall, still a great experience.
Nous sommes allés manger au keg , WoW service impeccable , nourriture impeccable je vous recommande ce restaurant ( Laval ) , nous allons y retourner c'est certain

My wife & I have been frequent customers of the Keg Laval for years, & it has always been one of our favorite places to dine almost on a weekly basis. Unfortunately, we've recently taken a bit of a hiatus because our last few experiences have involved noticeably poor service, something that feels very unusual & disappointing for a restaurant like The Keg.
Tonight's experience unfortunately confirmed those concerns.
To begin with, we specifically reserved seating in the restaurant section, yet were seated on the bar side instead. While we aren't the type to make a fuss or complain on the spot, it was still disappointing, especially considering that every poor experience we've had lately has happened when seated outside the main restaurant section.
After being seated, we ordered sparkling water & received only one glass initially. A second glass eventually arrived much later, but even then the waiter never actually served or poured the water for us.
When it came time to order, I chose the prime rib with a side of crab legs. From the moment we placed our order, our main waiter essentially disappeared. Not once did he return to check on us, ask how the meal was, offer bread, refill drinks, or provide any level of attentiveness you would normally expect from The Keg.
When our mains arrived, the crab legs were missing entirely, despite melted butter already being placed on the table. Again, nobody came by to check on us or notice the issue. By the time we had completely finished our steaks, I had to flag down another waitress to explain that the crab legs never arrived & that at that point they were no longer necessary.
The most disappointing part is that the food itself was still good, but the service experience completely overshadowed the evening.
The Keg used to feel like a classy, dependable restaurant where you were guaranteed both excellent food & exceptional service. Lately, however, there seems to have been a serious decline in consistency & attentiveness. After tonight's experience, unfortunately, I don't see myself returning anytime soon.
Honestly the best place I have discovered since a long time! Staff are super kind & they make you feel special, called for a reservation & Lucas the receptionist was a sweetheart to help find us the best seats for the game, & the waiter Nico I think(?) was over the top!! really enjoyed our dinner.
Food was okay overall for a family of four. Both kids had the pasta - it was just okay. My wife had the salmon & enjoyed it. The Caesar salad was simple but good, although the added chicken portion was very small & unfortunately quite dry. She also enjoyed her spritz, but the white sangria was not great. On a positive note, our waitress was very kind & friendly.
Très décevant du début à la fin. Nous avions une réservation & sommes arrivés à l'heure, mais avons tout de même attendu environ 20 minutes avant d'avoir notre table. Une fois assis, nous avons encore attendu plus de 20 minutes avant que la serveuse vienne nous voir. Aucun accueil, aucune proposition de boissons, elle nous a simplement demandé immédiatement si nous étions prêts à commander.
Après avoir pris notre commande, plus aucune présence pendant près d'une heure. Finalement, la serveuse revient pour nous offrir des shots'parce que la cuisine est plus longue aujourd'hui'. Honnêtement, ce n'était pas des shots qu'on voulait, mais simplement un service normal & un minimum de considération.
En plus, au moment de commander, on nous informe qu'il n'y a plus le steak à 45 $, mais on essaie aussitôt de nous vendre un autre steak à 73 $ en disant que'c'est exactement la même pièce de viande'. Désolé, mais si c'était réellement la même chose, il n'y aurait pas presque 30 $ de différence. Ça donnait surtout l'impression d'essayer de nous pousser vers une option beaucoup plus chère.
Après toute cette attente & ce manque total de professionnalisme, nous avons décidé de quitter le restaurant sans même manger. Une expérience extrêmement frustrante & un service parmi les pires que j'ai eus. Je ne recommande absolument pas cet endroit.

Another great Keg experience.
I've been to this one a few times now & the service is consistently great.
They take care of you like an upscale establishment should.
Never disappointed.
We went to celebrate our wedding anniversary & unfortunately had a very disappointing experience.
From the moment the waiter arrived, we mentioned we were very hungry & even ordered an appetizer just to have something while waiting. We were served bread, but the wait for everything else was extremely long. We didn't complain, but when the manager came to apologize, she explained the delay by saying they usually wait for guests to finish their bread & appetizer. We were actually saving the bread to eat with our main meal, so that explanation didn't make sense.
The food did not make up for the wait. My dish had a small piece of fish with shrimp & scallops, all overly soaked in oil. My husband's prime rib was tasteless & nothing like what we've had at other locations.
We've always known this restaurant for its quality, but this location did not deliver. In fact, we left still unsatisfied & ended up going elsewhere to eat.
While we appreciate that the manager offered a glass of wine, it didn't make up for the experience or the high price for the quality received.
Went to The Keg last night & had a really good experience. The food was great, but the service from our waitress Pamela was what stood out most. She was very attentive & always smiling. She made us feel really comfortable & welcome, & her positive attitude honestly made the dinner even more enjoyable. Great service overall & definitely a big reason why we'll come back.
Camilo is the reason we keep coming back to The Keg! Truly a gem. Amazing service, great atmosphere, & the steak is always cooked to perfection. It's become our go-to spot these past few months. You can't go wrong here!

The service & experience were fantastic. Jess & Arthur were Great. Jess went above & beyond checking in ingredients for our dietary restrictions. Thanks again!
We were a groupé of 25 so service was not great not enough personal, & it was a holiday so its normal in those circumstances. All the employees were great but next time when they anticipate so many clients the team should take this in consideration.

Très belle ambiance, nous avons étés très bien accueillis & le service était à la hauteur de nos attentes. La cuisine était excellente, malgré le prix un peu élevé, même si il faut s'y attendre dans ce genre de restaurant. Je recommande si vous avez envie d'un bon steak.
