Had a steak dinner with my father & brother. We were well taken care of by our waiter Andy (of course everyone played their part) . He served us with a high quality standard.
The atmosphere was really chill the drinks were great (we had pina coladas & mojitos). The chill jazz music made the atmosphere mellow. We had an amazing experience. Will definately revisit. I highly recommend coming here for a nice dinner &(or) drinks.
We ordered fixed three course meal.
My child's plate was taken away from her as she was about to bite into her food. Server grabbed the plate & said'wrong plate'. All the steaks were tough. We didn't complain. When it came to the desserts (which we waited around 20mins for the server to come around after finishing our meals) we were offered coffee or baileys. We don't drink, & we don't drink coffee. Server said there was nothing else they could provide us. I left no tip because of this. Waiter confronted me about this in front of of my family. I told him we ordered three courses & only received two. He (then after backed up by his manager?) then went on to tell me it was my fault for not inquiring what the desserts were. Not arrogant at all, real classy joint 👍🏼

I went to the Terrasse 419 with a group & we ordered tartare as an entree, & then the Surf & Turf that came with a huge Tomahawk steak that was smoked & carved up with great panache by our waiter, Idriss, who also flambeed the varied surf platter. Wonderful to watch & the meat was perfect! Everything was delicious. We had to make room for the desserts even if we were full & I'm glad we did. Yum! Especially the lemon pie! Great Old Montreal experience. Highly recommended!

The meal was delicious! We had the tartares for entrée & the steak/lobster as a main course & everything was perfectly cooked & flavourful!

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Le 419! The service was excellent: our water glasses were always replenished, the cocktails were tasty & original. The steak was melt-in-your-mouth & the seafood was delicious. Our waiter, Idriss, put on a wonderful show flambéing the dishes & smoking the others! Wow! Highly recommend! Would definitely return!
We recently visited Terrasse Le 419 - Vieux Port & had an overall decent experience. The location is great, with a nice view & a relaxed atmosphere that works well for a casual outing.
We ordered a Shiraz & a Cabernet Sauvignon, both of which were enjoyable & paired nicely with the food. I also had the NY Steak. The portion was good & the flavour was solid, though not particularly standout.
Service was average - nothing negative, but nothing exceptional either. Staff were polite, but the pacing & attentiveness could have been a bit sharper.
Overall, Terrasse Le 419 offers a pleasant setting & a decent meal, especially if you're in the Vieux?Port area & want a simple, relaxed dining experience.
This is honestly the most disappointing restaurant experience I have ever had.
I usually always leave good reviews when I can & I try to be fair, but this time I feel completely disrespected.
The wait was extremely long & we were lied to about the timing. The waiter kept giving us false updates & it felt like we were being misled the whole time.
My graduation dinner was ruined because of this experience, something I was really looking forward to & will never get back.
My friend ordered octopus & we waited one hour & thirty minutes just for one tentacle.
The steak was not cooked as asked & had to be sent back but still did not come back correct.
The mashed potatoes were cold when they finally arrived.
On top of everything, every single bill we received had errors in it, which made the experience even more frustrating & stressful when we were already dealing with everything else.
We spent around 300 dollars & I still felt pressured & basically forced to leave a 15 percent tip just because of the situation, which made me feel even worse about the whole experience.
I felt ignored & honestly gaslighted by the staff when I tried to ask what was going on.
This is my first bad review ever because I usually try to support restaurants but I cannot ignore how bad this experience was.
Very disappointed & I would not recommend this place.
