Overall it is in Jacques Cartier square so everything is expensive, great location to people watch. I got there at around 5pm, not busy but by the time I left around 6pm, every tables on the patio were taken. You can hear the buskers playing music in the square which is nice. Food is ok, nothing to brag about. Friendly service, place is clean. Bilingual staff.

Had a steak dinner with my father & brother. We were well taken care of by our waiter Andy (of course everyone played their part) . He served us with a high quality standard.
The atmosphere was really chill the drinks were great (we had pina coladas & mojitos). The chill jazz music made the atmosphere mellow. We had an amazing experience. Will definately revisit. I highly recommend coming here for a nice dinner &(or) drinks.

We were seated inside, it was extremely hot to the point that it was bothering everyone on the table, also the music was too loud & even though we asked to put it down twice they would put it & soon would be loud again. The appetizers were really good, but the main course was too expensive for what it served. After exactly 50 minutes of waiting for the plates... The beef was too small & for sure wasn't the right size as described (I know the weight is based on the raw beef, but still). Also, the sauce was extremely salty & I have high blood pressure. The drinks were really good & the beer was cold. I would go for appetizers & drinks, but definitely not main courses.

The surf & turf dish I ordered was hands down the best I've ever had in Montreal, combining succulent flavours that left me craving for more. Picture this: the server skillfully cutting steaks right in front of you, akin to the iconic Salt Bae, but at a fraction of the cost & with even more mouthwatering flavour. Terrasse 419 has undoubtedly earned its reputation as one of the best spots in Montreal for a romantic dining experience in my books. Whether it's a special occasion like Valentine's Day or a casual evening out, this hidden gem promises an unforgettable culinary journey. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a blend of exquisite cuisine & charming ambiance. The music was fire too & so were the drinks.

This restaurant is a true hidden Gem, I can't believe I have never been & they have been open for years! Food is absolutely delicious & the atmosphere was such a good vibe with good music. Decently priced, tasty drinks & amazing service. I highly recommend & will be returning!
