Cover of $25 to just entry. After two hours you order food & alcohol they request your table & only apologize because they have another reservation. It doesn't matter if you have something to drink.
The place & view is very nice. Had their burrata burger which tasted like nothing, the sangria wasn't much better.
if you want to check it out, go for the view, but wouldn't have anything more than a drink.
Service was ok, that's it.
Very disappointing experience.
We were a table of three, & the barrel table was far too small. Several items listed on the menu were unavailable.
I ordered a beer, & it was warm. Only after opening it did the server tell me they had just put it in the fridge. Why wasn't I told before it was opened? We ordered two beers, & my friend didn't even drink theirs because it was warm. We were still charged for both.
When we ordered the lamb, we were told it was'stuck in traffic with the chef.' I've never heard that excuse before.
The only positive thing was my sister's cocktail-it was very good.
Overall, the restaurant needs much better organization. If you open at 5 p.m., your main menu items should be ready & available. It's disappointing to arrive at opening time only to find that key dishes aren't available yet. Unfortunately, we left very disappointed.

Beautiful place! First time trying the place & sadly it was hard to enjoy dancing when tables are not getting cleaned. Told 2 different employee that half empty drinks are getting knocked over because the table is in the crowd. For a Thursday night, its a quick fix.. we left after seeing them go back to enjoying themselves.
I visited ciel rose on 25/07/25. It was my first time going. We had a reservation for 2 at 9:30 but unfortunately we arrived late because we had trouble finding parking & also finding the establishment. I'll say that it is not easy to find & also to get to the rooftop. Upon arriving we made our way to dining area inside where a young man in black with curly hair was. We asked for directions to rooftop. He asked us if we had a reservation & we said yes. He guided us to the rooftop & we were on our way. Upon arriving at the rooftop there was no one to greet us. We waited about 5 minutes not really knowing what to do. We asked a busboy that had braids if there's someone who could help us. He then told us to go see the manager by pointing to him. I was very taken aback as this was my first time here & I didn't feel comfortable going up to a manager & I couldn't even tell to who he was pointing to.. I told him so no one can help us? There's no one to greet us? He said I don't know what to tell you… he was very rude! He said that usually they greet us at the dining area for reservations & I told him that we told the guy we had a reservation & he just told us to go to the rooftop. Turns out the guy we saw in the beginning at the dining area was the manager. We told him we had a reservation but we are late & he went to check if there was tables available. He didn't really look or help to be honest. He said we could stay standing & wait for a table or go to Zuma which I didn't know what he was taking about. We decided to stand at the bar. I'll say that the drinks were very good & the music & atmosphere was great. The Dj did a great job! After about 45 minutes of standing & we saw a table available we asked a nice gentleman with a white polo that seemed like another manager if we could go to the empty table. He brought us to the table & cleaned it for us. He was very nice. Besides the rude encounter with the busboy & the first manager we would definitely go back!
Terrace was a bit smaller than I expected. Still decorated very nicely. No A/C or fans so it does tend to get really hot, especially on days where it is more packed. Service was nice & the drinks were also good. Music was loud so it's hard to hear the person next to you.
We're the neighbors from Arepera, & this place makes you feel like you're not in Montreal - but somewhere on a Caribbean island! The food is excellent, but the drinks are even better! The spicy margaritas… wow! Take advantage of the summer & come by! 🌞🍹
