The service was surprisingly fast for a friday packed restaurant! The food was okay for the most of it.. might be a little pricey as there is plenty of options for vietnamese cuisine in our beautiful city tho! So to give you an idea we had 3 appetizers: spring rolls, tum yun soup, & shrimp crispy donut & 5 mains: bun cuon mixed, bun cha, loc lac beef, trio grilled with rice, & crispy noodle mixed for a total of 200$ included tips!
A good bring your own wine Vietnamese restaurant in little Italy with a decent section from the menu.
We were 3 with a table next to the windows, so it was fairly quiet. The food was good in general with a few outstanding items like the crispy crab rolls & the crispy chicken wings.
The service was ok as the server did not come often to the front of the dining room where we were seated…

We recently visited T'ami Vietnamese Restaurant in Montreal, & it was the perfect prelude to our upcoming Vietnamese honeymoon. The food felt wholesome, comforting, & beautifully prepared just the kind of cooking that makes you feel taken care of.
We started with the bánh cu?n (steamed rice rolls). The delicate rice sheets were silky & light, topped with crispy shallots for just the right crunch. Paired with tender grilled meat, slices of pork sausage, & fresh herbs, it all came together with a dipping sauce that was both savory & slightly sweet balanced & addictive.
The bánh xèo (Vietnamese sizzling pancake) was another highlight. Golden, crisp on the outside, yet soft inside, it was generously filled & paired with fresh lettuce, herbs, & bean sprouts. Wrapping each bite & dipping it in the light fish sauce made every mouthful exciting & refreshing.
We also tried the pad thai while a Thai classic, it was prepared with a Vietnamese touch here. The noodles had a lovely chew, the sauce was tangy with just the right hint of sweetness, & the crunch of peanuts on top tied it all together.
Overall, T'ami gave us a beautiful glimpse into the warmth of Vietnamese cuisine. Each dish felt carefully made, with flavors that were vibrant yet comforting. It truly set the mood for our upcoming travels we left feeling satisfied, happy, & even more excited to experience Vietnam soon.
What a wonderful dining experience! Went mid-afternoon to finally test their famous dishes & were not disappointed. Beautiful decor, great service, & unique & authentic Vietnamese cuisine.
Definitely more than the usual pho & grill places. It was our first, but definitely not our last, time
Had :
- Bánh Tôm Hà N?i (crispy shrimp & sweet potato fritters, served with dipping sauce & a small salad, & even a pair of scissors for easy sharing
- Bánh Cu?n Mixed (fantastic platter of steamed rice rolls full of ground pork, shallots, & wood ear mushrooms, slices of Vietnamese sausage, grilled BBQ pork, & meatballs in a warm dipping sauce)
- Kem Xôi Lá Dúa (exquisite pandan sticky rice
& ice cream dessert)
Good service, delicious food.
We were 4 who shared the mango salad with shrimp (a little heat & very delicious); Two ordered veggie imperial roll & one the spring roll with chicken & everyone was pleased with their choice.
The main course was Chicken Pad Thai, Crispy Noodles with Shrimp, Wonton Noodle Soup with Shrimp & Shrimps Curry Coconut. Everyone to a person loved their choice.
Reasonably priced & well worth going to. It is a Bring-Your-Own-Wine so best be prepared!
Our guests love the bánh xèo & the red wine beef.
The chicken wings are a bit too dry & salty but very crispy.
Personally, I prefer the beef (bò lúc l?c) a bit more on the medium rare side but my guests love it the way it is…😁
In general, I would recommend this place anytime. Ph??ng, the partner owner is sooo sweet.

We've been here multiple times & the menu is always in point! I really like their crab rolls, the crispy shrimp pastry, the bun cha & the caramelized fish & sweet & sour soup combo!
T'ami is the kind of spot that quietly surprises you-in the best way. We had the crab imperial rolls, Hanoi-style crispy shrimp pastries, & vermicelli with grilled beef in betel leaves. Everything was fresh, flavorful, & full of texture. My mom & friends had the bún bò Hu?, & the broth had that bold, kicky seafood depth that's hard to find outside Vietnam.
It's a place for anyone who loves real-deal Vietnamese food-whether you're craving comfort or want to impress your foodie friends. I'd definitely bring my Vietnamese family back here.
Overall the food was very good, & at a most reasonable price. The best dishes we sampled were the crab rolls, the crispy noodles, the General Tao's chicken, & the beef with basil. The spring rolls & the pad Thai were rather ordinary, & the Tom Yum soup was not good at all, but we will definitely return to order new dishes. Service was a bit disorganized, but the dishes did come out fairly quickly, & everyone was most friendly.
Tami's story is as authentic as its dishes. The founder explored Vietnam, tasting & perfecting recipes to bring the essence of the country's cuisine right here to Montreal. Every dish we tried was packed with flavor, rich in taste, & felt like a comforting, home-cooked meal. The customer service was unmatched. They even offered me a cup of hot water to warm up & checked if I needed the heating adjusted. After our meal, they made sure we loved our experience & welcomed any feedback. It's clear that customer satisfaction is at the heart of Tami. So if you're craving authentic Vietnamese cuisine with impeccable service, Tami Restaurant should be at the top of your list. Meals we had: - 🍤 8. Banh Tôm Ha Nai (2) - Hanoi style crispy shrimps pasty - 🍜 53: BÚN BÒ HUẾ (spicy)Hue Spicy Beef Noodle Soup - 🐟 59. Combo canh áa cá (combo) Combo Sweet & Sour Soup with Fish, & Caramelized Fish served with rice for 2 people - 🥩 31. Bò nướng - Grilled Beef

The best Northern Vietnamese restaurant overseas! All the food we ordered such as tasted so authentic. Nem cua be is literally the best in the world with the owner's recipe. Dồi sụn, bún chả, bún dậu mắm tôm, bánh cuốn Thanh Trì, bánh tôm are all so yummy. Bánh xèo is the highlight of the night. It is so crispy & thin just the way it has to be. The sauce is homemade & catered to each dish. We finished everything. It is rare to find a Northern style restaurant so you must try it!
As a Vietnamese Australian eating Vietnamese out, it was a homely experience dining out with 17 of our relatives in Montreal, my Banh Xeo was crispy & on point, with all the best herbs. My kids had their favourite Pho Bo Tao. We also got the Banh Hoi Thi Nuong, Canh Chua, Ca Kho To. I also had 2 of the mango smoothies which was amazing! The restaurant was a full house on a Wednesday evening. This alone speaks for itself. Well done & thank you for a lovely space to dine & reminisce Vietnam amongst our family.
Perfect group meal family style--get nem ran cua be (so crispy). They also have a weekend menu special featuring banh cuon (so shiny, glossy, & high meat:rice ratio). I'd bring my Vietnamese parents here without reservation
T'ami served us personally & was so helpful with picking out local dishes from northern vietnam. 🇻🇳 She was very patient & very kind, hospitable. - Our absolute favorite 🏆 was the "nem cua be", the pork & crab imperial rolls. Worth the trip itself, don't sleep on it. - the hoan than chien (fried wonton) & bahn tom ha noi (hanoi style crispy shrimp & sweet potato patties) were delicious as well. - Both the "bun cha ha noi » (hanoi style bbq pork) & the « bahn hoi thit nuong » (char grilled pork) were big hits. -banh xeo (vietnamese crepe) was very crispy & tasty. - the « bun dau mam tom » was interesting but it wasn't my favorite. Thank you for everything T'ami!

Beautiful Vietnamese restaurant in Little Italy. We came here for late dinner. Nice decor & calm music. We had the banh xèo (Vietnamese pork crepe) which was nice & crispy. It did not disappoint. The banh hỏi thịt nướng (Vermicelli with grilled pork) was also delicious. The meat was well marinated & nicely grilled. The cơm tấm sườn bì trứng (rice with grilled pork & egg) was good too but not as amazing as the first two. For dessert, we had the fried banana. The batter around the banana was not too thick so it was quite enjoyable. In all, I was quite happy with my experience here & will surely come back to try some of their other dishes.
T'ami is one of the few restaurants in Montreal that will satisfy all your Vietnamese food cravings at very reasonable prices. Of interest, they specialize in Northern Vietnamese cuisine! Here you will find northern dishes such as: * Nem Cua Bể - Crab imperial rolls * Banh Tôm - Shrimp & Sweet potato fritters * Bún chả Hà Nội - Vermicelli with pork meatballs * Bún Dậu Mắm Tôm - Vermicelli with pork sausage & tofu * Banh Cuốn - rolled rice sheets with pork meat But also Central & Southern dishes such as: * Bún Bò Huế - spicy beef noodle soup * Banh Xèo - crispy Vietnamese savoury crêpe * Canh Chua - Sour soup gumbo with fish * Cá Kho Tộ - Caramelized braised fish ... & many more to choose from the elaborate menu. Each item is well executed to respect its tradition of aromas, flavours, & texture. Located in the heart of Montreal's Little Italy district, this spacious restaurant is perfect for groups & is a few minutes walk from Beaubien metro. & what makes it even more amazing is it's a BYOB! Come meet the owner Tâm in person as she's super sweet & loves to make you smile with her cooking.
The first time I came to try Bun dau mam tom that was fine. This time I triefd Crispy shrimp pasty & I can tell it is a must try, I love it. The restaurant is clean, service is good. As an authentic Vietnamese I prefer more strong flavor for fish sauce & shrimp sauce. Banh cuốn ngon nhưng nước mắm nhạt quá nên hơi uổng tí. C'est bon!!
