Went with a friend I'd travelled to Vietnam with… food exactly as we had over there & haven't properly been able to locate here. & dishes beyond the standard Viet resto offerings of pho, spring rolls & grilled proteins.
.
Try the banh xèo & banh tom Hà N?i. 10/10 would go again in a heartbeat.
I ordered Pho Sot Vang aka beef stew in red wine. The picture on the menu shows completely different from what I received. I also ordered bun cha & banh tom ho tay, both are good but I'm posting only because I cannot get over the fact that I'm being sold for false advertisement.
My pho come out messy just like someone had it before, the pho broth is so bland, beef cubes are thick & hard to chew, not seasoned, matter of fact, I had this beef stew red wine before & here they serve like a normal pho bowl. I don't know why this dish is still on the menu if they don't sell that many. If you can't make the time to make the stew separately then just cross it off the menu on the day of.
Bonus point, please train your chef to do better service, food presentation, quality & most importantly, don't cut corners like how you did to my plate especially when you are slammed with clients. Have a reservation policy, so you're not freaked out when people come & waiting for a spot to sit.
Other than that, everything else is good. Thanks for the experience, I don't think I will come back but good luck with your business.

Best viet restaurant I've been so far ! Felt very authentic & food was amazinggg!! I rly liked the steamed rice rolls (bc3) & the grilled beef wrapped in betel leaves (t6). The beef stew in red wine pho (p2) was also delishh 😋
Lets start with the good stuff. I like the crab imperial roll. The wrapper is crunchy & the mouthfeel is great. The taste is great too. Something new but overall great. The vibe is also good. I like the addition of the basket tray. It adds to the Vietnamese vibe of the restaurant. The food that we got is alright in my opinion. A little too expensive for what I got. I'm talking about the Pho that I got. The portion is small considering it's a $20 dish. The flavor of the soup is average. I had better one's that has larger portion & great tasting broth. Another one is the Grilled dish. Again a little too expensive for the small portion that we got. Overall I'd give it a 3 star since it fed us nicely but overpriced.
Waiting 30' for a spring roll & pho & it came out mediocre. Pho was so bland that I needed to pour hoisin sauce for some flavour. Spring roll was so thin, inside falling out the moment my kid bited. I regretted coming here thinking I could have authentic Vietnamese food after a long drive.

What a wonderful dining experience! Went mid-afternoon to finally test their famous dishes & were not disappointed. Beautiful decor, great service, & unique & authentic Vietnamese cuisine.
Definitely more than the usual pho & grill places. It was our first, but definitely not our last, time
Had :
- Bánh Tôm Hà N?i (crispy shrimp & sweet potato fritters, served with dipping sauce & a small salad, & even a pair of scissors for easy sharing
- Bánh Cu?n Mixed (fantastic platter of steamed rice rolls full of ground pork, shallots, & wood ear mushrooms, slices of Vietnamese sausage, grilled BBQ pork, & meatballs in a warm dipping sauce)
- Kem Xôi Lá Dúa (exquisite pandan sticky rice
& ice cream dessert)
We ordered in & started with the wonton soup, which was absolutely delicious & easily my favorite part of the meal. My husband really enjoyed it too. He also had the vegetarian imperial rolls & was a big fan.
We shared the Banh Hoi Thit Nuong (grilled pork), a go-to for me when it comes to Vietnamese cuisine, & the grilled beef with rice. Both meats had a nice grilled char flavor that we appreciated.
That said, I was expecting a little more overall based on the reviews & photos. It also felt a little overpriced for what it was. Still, everything was pretty good. We'd definitely order the soup again, possibly even visit in person just for that.
Everytime I travel to Montreal, I eat high quality Vietnamese food. Now, I can say for sure the best of the best is T'ami!!! The Pho is soooo good! The service is excellent. From the co-owner who greeted us to the server who attended to every important detail, it was a memorable experience. In future trips to Montreal, T'ami will be my first stop for great food. Thank you!!!
The weekend variety is good. To each their own for Vietnamese cuisine. It's decent but there are better pho spots. Their weekend offering is the better reason to try this spot.
I visited as a tourist, thinking Montreal being a French city would have many authentic Vietnamese restaurants. I found this highly-rated Vietnamese restaurant online & decided to try it. I ordered the classic pho, but was quite disappointed.
First, The broth wasn't hot enough, which meant the raw bean sprouts stayed raw (I had actually ordered cooked sprouts but the server seemed to forget & gave me raw ones anyway).
Second, this was the only pho I've ever had that didn't include basil leaves - the broth only contained green onions, red onions, & bean sprouts.
Third, the restaurant isn't as authentic as people claimed online.
The only positive thing was the decent meat quality.Overall, I can't recommend this place.

First time ordering from here by phone for a pick up. The service was courteous. However once I tasted the pho with shrimps & my friend the red wine beef one, it was quite tasteless for a Vietnamese place it should be full of flavour. I didn't like it unfortunately & really wanted to give this place a chance but I won't go back.
Very special Vietnamese restaurant. They have much more traditional dishes than pho! Of course pho is delicious while we were so impressed by the rice roll with pork & fish soup combo! It's so satisfying to go with the rice! Yummy!
All the dishes we had were very well executed. I love the char & grill taste of the meat. My fave dish was the bun cha Hanoi. Very fresh & meat is generous. This restaurant has a lot of dishes I don't see in other Vietnamese restos. The pho saute tami was also very good! Broth was light & meat was nice & grilled. Would come back again!
