We usually come a lot since a few years & the lunch team we are very familiar with. They are super nice great service. The dinner team (this Sunday) litterally sucked.. We asked for a miso soup while waiting our friends to arrive, a girl said « no I'm busy » 😭 . She had attitude & rolled her eyes to my friend who was everything but polite when asking for things. Another friend also had allergies & asked twice to get his sushi seperated from the order. They did not do that either. As someone who works in service à la clientele & as a server, i know how stressful & tiring it can be but as clients we were everything but polite & I have never ever nor would serve clients that way, rolling my eyes at clients. Even handing our orders was a hastle as they kept ignoring us like blind bats 🦇. If the dinning price were cheaper like it used to be we would not have our usual expectations but as students we pay 50 dollars each to go to a familiar restaurant we have been going to for over 2 years & be with friends & paying for a service that is this rude actually sucks. Honestly Super disappointed genuinely will only come back for lunch for the og POLITE team :)
I ll think about it if i ll come again or not cause it wasn't like before , we were group of 8 & i insist to went to Takumi because it was one of my favourite sushi restaurant in montreal but i was little bit disappointed that's why i rerating
Première expérience chez Takumi, mais ça ne sera pas là dernière. Tout était super. L'endroit, la cuisine & particulièrement la qualité du service. Un énorme merci à Clark qui nous a reçu comme de grands invités. Ma grande de 7ans nous a dit que c'était maintenant son endroit préféré pour les sushis. A bientôt
Moi & mes amis sommes venu à Montréal pour un festival & aujourd'hui on avait faim pour un bon "All you can eat" de sushi ! Quand nous sommes arrivés sur place, on nous a accueilli directement avec un grand sourire. En ce qui a trait au service, c'était absolument parfait, lorsque nous prenions un peu de temps à remplir le papier pour commander, Clark a pris l'initiative de regarder notre papier discrètement afin de pouvoir nous apportez nos soupes. Le poisson était super frais & tous les plats que nous avons reçu étaient délicieux. Moi & mes amis sommes très content d'avoir découvert ce restaurant & à notre prochaine visite à Montréal, nous allons revenir, c'est sur à 100% Merci beaucoup à Clark pour l'excellent service & lors de notre prochaine visite, on espère te revoir ! The staff were so kind & fun to talk to. The food was great & fresh! Simple as that, the green salad was really good. There ice cream is a must to finish the great meal!
My favourite all you can eat spot in the city. Everyone is so friendly there, the food quality is amazing & in the summer they have a little terasse in the back! A lot of vegetarian options too!
Fantastic service, extremely helpful staff. I love the concept of a table service buffet. Some sushi was quite bland & the rice was warm. It must have been a fresh batch of rice, the restaurant was very busy.
The sushi was good for the most part (cucumber roll was coming apart, but everything else was good). They were weird about us not doing the "all you can eat" option & ordering à-la-carte instead, like they had to verify that it was okay for some reason, which it was, but why would this not be the default?
