Amazing experience at Takumi. The all-you-can-eat menu has a great variety, the sushi is fresh & delicious, & the other offered dishes are full of flavour & delicious as well. The service was outstanding-friendly, attentive, & fast even when busy. We will definitely be coming back thank you! 🍣✨

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant.
First, many of the dishes were extremely sweet, which made it difficult for me to eat, & some items did not taste fresh. The sashimi did not seem fresh, & the sushi rice had an unpleasant smell.
When we couldn't finish some food, the staff repeatedly pressured us to eat everything & mentioned their policy in a way that felt uncomfortable. No customer should feel forced or judged for not finishing food, especially when the quality is questionable.
At checkout, we left a tip, & the server commented that it was not enough, which I found very unprofessional. Tipping is voluntary, & it should never be commented on. Here is Canada, not US.
Overall, the service felt pushy & uncomfortable, & the food quality did not meet expectations. I would not recommend this place based on my experience. Even though the environment of the restaurant is pretty, the customer service is quite terrible.
Most all you can eat sushi in this city is trash, this place however consistently has fresh fish & great service. Would recommend if the mood for all you can eat strikes you.

We've been going to takumi sushi regularly for years with our two kids & have always had such kind, attentive, & good service from Clark & the entire staff at Takumi! The food is consistently delicious & fresh!! We will always recommend this restaurant for an all you can eat sushi!

I have been to many AYCE sushi places in Montreal over the years, & Takumi is actually the best. The sushi is sooo fresh, they have a large variety of non-sushi options. The restaurant itself has a warm vibe, & the service is excellent- the staff are so nice!!
Best sushi in town, the food is fresh, the service is awesome & the plating is very nice & aesthetic. Clark has been really nice & attentive! 100% recommand !

Just flew in from Lebanon, literally the first place my girl & i wanted to go to was Takumi. Never disappoints. Clark was our waiter & he recommended the freshest on the menu. Everything was delicious, they were quick in the kitchen too so hats off to the chefs. 10/10
Food was amazing. The fish is really fresh & their sashimis are unbeatable. Clarke was super friendly & gave us the best experience. He was always around to make sure everything was okay & made the experience even better. Highly recommend spot for all you can eat. I never tried an all you can as good as this place.
I had an always excellent dining experience at this sushi restaurant. Clark is very friendly, always ask what we need. The menu offered a thoughtful selection of traditional & specialty rolls, all prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The ambiance is relaxed yet polished, making it suitable for both casual meals & more formal outings. This place is the witness on my 2yrs relationship with my bf. Overall, a strong choice for sushi lovers in Montreal!
If you love sushi, Takumi Sushi sets the standard in Montreal. The quality here is simply outstanding. The fish is incredibly fresh, the sushi is prepared with care & precision, the BBQ options are perfectly marinated & cooked, & even the fried dishes are top-notch - crisp, flavorful, & clearly made with high-quality ingredients.
You can truly taste the expertise & dedication in every bite. For me, Takumi Sushi is the best sushi restaurant in Montreal, no question about it.
Most all-you-can-eat sushi in Montreal is a trap of bad rice & questionable fish. I'd given up on it.
This place is an exception.
The quality was great for an all you can eat. The sashimi was bright, firm, & fresh. The rice was perfectly seasoned, letting the high-grade fish shine.
Best of all, the service was incredible-warm, attentive, & efficient. Orders arrived quickly & accurately. Even the gyoza & tempura were delicious.
Takumi Sushi proves AYCE doesn't have to mean bad quality. I'll be back eventually.
