I had a really great experience at this sushi restaurant in Montreal! The sushi was fresh, delicious, & beautifully presented. Everything we ordered tasted amazing, & the portions were great as well. The service was friendly & the overall atmosphere was really nice. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for good sushi in Montreal. I would happily come back again!
My name is Khadi & I've been at Takumi multiple times with family & friends. The service is always excellent, the food is fresh & the ambiance is very warm & nice. Clark gave us very good costumer service, so I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good food!
I was so excited for this place but unfortunately my experience wasn't good, menu had limited options & they forgot a couple pieces of our orders. The food didn't seem very fresh either. I've been to better places before, I wouldn't recommend it

The food was fresh & delicious! The service was amazing, Clark, our waiter, checked on us several times to make sure everything was perfect. I definitely recommend this restaurant if you're looking for great food, excellent service, & a wonderful atmosphere.
Takumi Sushi is an absolute gem! The food here is incredible. Every piece of sushi is crafted with such care, & you can really taste the freshness of the ingredients. The fish melts in your mouth, & the rice is seasoned perfectly. Their special rolls are creative & delicious, too. Absolutely one of my favorite all-you-can-eat sushi restaurants! I've been here many times, & the food is consistently fresh, delicious, & beautifully prepared. The menu has a great variety, so there's always something new to try.
What really makes Takumi stand out is the service. The staff is always friendly, attentive, & welcoming, making every visit enjoyable. The restaurant is clean, the atmosphere is great, & the food comes out surprisingly fast.

We used to come & eat here quite often, & we had never experienced any issues before. However, our visit this past Thursday was very disappointing.
It was an extremely hot day, & when we entered the restaurant, the temperature inside was unbearable. They had five air conditioners running, & the restaurant is not very large, yet we could not feel any cool air at all.
When our sushi arrived, it was surprisingly very warm. It did not feel fresh, & we were unable to enjoy it. We did not complain at the time because we understood that it was a very hot day. However, as a restaurant, they should be prepared to handle these conditions. Especially considering that hot weather is common during Canadian summers.
Things became even worse while we were eating when my friend found a spider on her plate. We took a picture & showed it to our server because we were extremely disgusted & no longer wanted to stay. Our server was very kind, we have had him many times before, & he has always been excellent. He spoke with his manager in the back, but the manager never came to speak with us personally. Instead, we were told that the drinks would be removed from our bill. We had only ordered a Coke & a Canada Dry, totaling about five dollars. Frankly, that response felt ridiculous given the situation.
We did not argue, nor was it our intention to create problems, but we found the manager's reaction very disappointing & unprofessional. We simply expressed that we would not be returning & wanted to take the time to share this experience.
Their sushi is usually good, but it seems they are not equipped to handle hot days.
The reviews were right! Clark was an absolute sweetheart & an amazing waiter. The sushi was fresh & delicious. Honestly one of the best sushi spots I've ever tried in Montréal!
In my opinion, this is one of the best places to eat sushi in Montreal. I've tried sushi at many places across the city, & this restaurant truly stands out for the freshness of its ingredients, the outstanding quality of the food, & the chef's expertise.
It's actually very close to my home, but surprisingly, this was my first visit. I can confidently say it won't be my last-I will definitely be coming back.
I also want to mention that the server Mr.CLARK was incredibly polite, friendly, & professional, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
I wish the entire team continued success. On top of everything else, the portion sizes are very generous & offer excellent value for the price.
