Always a good option for lunch when I'm in the area, little pricey as I just moved from Vancouver & sushi is much cheaper there, however this is a good option.
TL;DR - I would not recommend this restaurant because they don't allow you to order more than 20 pieces of sashimi at a time & make you wait a long time in between orders, which limits how much you can order. Something I wish I had known before coming here was that the sashimi orders do not come with more than 20 pieces at a time. We ordered 40 pieces of salmon sashimi & 30 pieces of oil fish sashimi for the table, but we only received 17 & 18 pieces respectively. We thought the remaining pieces were on their way, so we placed an additional order. However, we waited over 20 minutes for the second order to arrive, & it still did not come with the missing sashimi. We had to wait quite a while before getting a hold of a server to notify them that a large chunk of the order was delayed & we were wondering that if it will come, it was only then the server told us that they do not make more than 20 pieces of sashimi of each type. Had we not asked we would keep missing sashimi orders & left wondering why. This was a deal-breaker for us as we specifically came for the sashimi. I've never been to an all-you-can-eat sushi place with such a limit on the amount of food you can order. We were only allowed 2 hours to dine in, but each order took a very long time (over 20 minutes) to arrive, making it difficult to order enough sashimi. My friend & I were left offering the last few pieces of sashimi to each other out of politeness... This is not something I've ever imagined from an all you can eat sushi restaurant. We ended up just sitting there, disappointment, hungry & just left looking at each other with nothing to do while waiting a long time for the second order to come. It is no surprise that this is a tactic used by the restaurant to maximize their profit by minimizing the amount of sashimi they serve you within the 2-hour timeframe This only reason I'm writing this is so that someone else doesn't make the same mistake like we did, we were really excited to have some salmon but for $45 each not including tax & tips we barely had a few pieces each, it's not worth it at all. There are many other all-you-can-eat places in Montreal without such absurd limitation & foul tactic. With that being said, I'd like to recognize the staff & servers as they were very courteous & polite. We were greeted with a friendly attitude the moment we stepped in, & whenever they came around, they were kind & polite. They may be a bit short-staffed, as it was difficult to get someone's attention.
Personnels exceptionnels, tous gentils, à l'écoute, polie ! Service rapide, sushi frais, nourriture arrive toujours à la température espéré Je reviendrait souvent !
My experience at Takumi Sushi was not worth the drive from the west island I didn't find they had a big variety of sushi, the ones we had were still good & the presentation is very nice but nothing special honestly We did not enjoy the hot meals nor the seaweeds salad The Hot & Sour soup was very good though Our waiter was very nice, the service was quick. I wouldn't make the trip again though
One of the best AYCE sushi in Montreal, lots of variety on the menu, everything is fresh & tasty & staff super nice. Must go if you're craving sushi, good idea to reserve ahead of time on busier days. Don't leave before having the ice cream.
Takumi Sushi boasts fresh & delicious sushi with good variation. Their lightning-fast service sets them apart, ensuring prompt delivery & responsiveness. As a loyal customer for five years, it's my top choice for all-you-can-eat sushi in Montreal
One of my favourite all your can eat sushi in MTL. Great service also & BYOB. They are fairly priced compared to other spots
Excellent sushi a volonté! Les aliments sont frais & le service est excellent.
Nourriture très bonne pleins de choix, vraiment à faire pour buffet à volonté petit bémol les prix rouge c'est additionnels faire attention .Personnelles très sympa...
Food was very good, very fresh & well made. The presentation was well done! Took one star off because they are extremely busy but also being extremely understaffed. We had to wait 30-40 minutes for the server to even come see us & another 30-40 minutes for our food to come. However that didn't take away from the experience, I would come back again!
The experience was amazing & food was so delicious!!. Highly recommended. Going back soon for sure!.
Went to try since it is All-you-can eat to found out that you need to pay extra $12 to get access for the premium items!! The prices are deceiving online. They should have mentioned the different menu tires. Why the 3 stars? The service is the only good thing about this place. Pros :- - Service ( quick & friendly) - Good price ONLY if you don't care about beef items & Sashimi - too much rice! Cons:- - stupid menu with confusing 4 digits items - washrooms (no soap) - really bad dessert I prefer to treat myself pay an extra $5-7 & get a FULL all you can eat sushi
