Grilled Greek salad, beet salad & steak with fries excellent! Service on point, Steven at the bar, super sweet & great bartender. Completely recommend.
It's been quite some time since I ate here last. After the pandemic, Table 51 changed their hours & were no longer open for lunch. Which is when I would go.
The menu seems to be the same, with a wide selection for most palettes. Prices variety depending on what is ordered. Daily specials are described by the wait staff, with prices.
We started with drinks. We ordered the Raspberry Mojito ( which was a bit sour & needed more simple syrup for my liking), a beer (boring), a gin & tonic (Hendrix is the way to go) & an Espresso Martini ( that's how we do it).
We then started by sharing an order of the Beef Bao Buns (3), that were loaded with pulled BBQ short ribs a few veggies & a hoisin mayo. Delicious. I wanted more. If you are not a big eater like me, it's enough to order as your main.
I had the Shrimp Burger & fries. It was a really good size but lacked in taste. It needed a bit of a punch. The fries were fries were under cooked, so ask for them crispy when ordering. Would I order it again? Probably not.
The other mains ordered by out table had the Grilled Greek Summer Salad & a special of the day that consisted of s small steak laid over some pasta with a light peppers sauce. Both were loved.
Portion sizes of all mains were ample.
Grilling of the steak & the veggies was done to perfection.
All in all the food was very good.
Make a reservation because it can get very busy. That's why the noise level was high.
Would I go back? Absolutely.
My 18 year old daughter wanted a steak & thought it would be a nice place to go. Ordered a 20 oz ribs teak which did not look 20OZ. Undercooked & was not tender. Appeared to have been frozen. Lots of money for an average steak $73.00 A side order of additional fries was $10.00. Service was well intended but cappuccino after meal came 10 - 15 minutes before dessert. Waiter asked if we were satisfied with our meals & my answer was so/so. Didnt bother to ask why not or what could have been different. Expensive, friendly, food did not match the prices ,. very nice decor.
Very good atmosphere, delicious steaks & great service by the sociable smiling Erika the waitress who made us feel right at home
Fantastic serving staff. Food ok: tuna tartare weird tasting, dark & overly seasoned but with what?! Veggie burger really good. Butternut squash raviolis tasted good but pasty, flour heavy sauce. Steak looked fine but really way to expensive for the size. Pad Thai bland , not fresh tasting & bean sprout heavy.
Everything was great, especially our server Steve who usually works the bar but was working the floor that that night & he was a pleasure! As usual I had the steak salad & it was excellent!
Definitely recommended I had best rib steak in my life
Delicious, juicy & with full of flavour
Best possible customer service & highly qualified of ingredients
Plus great wine & atmosphere
Had an amazing experience at Table 51 Décarie! Everything was perfect-from the warm ambiance to the excellent service. We ordered drinks, steak, & poutine, & each dish was absolutely delicious. The steak was cooked to perfection, the poutine had the perfect balance , rich gravy, & cheese curds, & the drinks were well-crafted. Highly recommend this spot for a great meal or any occasion
We were a big group & our waitress was fantastic. Their cocktails were amazing & a great variety. Our favorites was the basil berry breeze, sour cherry blossom, Moscow mule & spicy marg. Food was delicious, we all had something different & we all loved our appetizer & main meal. Favorite Appetizers: popcorn shrimp, zucchini rolls, Caesar salad, & Bacon cheddar croquette. Main meal: mood for health - the roasted salmon quinoa was delicious. Meat options - grilled chicken & houmous, rib steak with fries, steak was huge & cooked to perfection, Korean short rib was tender & you didn't need a knife, it was just pulling apart. Seafood option- maryland crab cake is a great choice, love the kale salad that comes with it. Salad options - Asian salad & Fashion salad are great choices too. All plates were big! There was no room for dessert.
The Korean steak was 🤌🏼 customer service was great too. It was very packed but other than that I am definitely going back.
I've been here like 10 times & honestly it's so mid & overpriced. 2 people at our table ordered beef (one burger, one hamburger steak) cooked medium & BOTH were medium rare almost rare. I ordered pasta of the day & the noodles were overdone. We ordered 2 different cocktails & both were undrinkable.
Every time we come here, the food is always good. I really like shrimp burger & salmon tartare but their salads & steaks are great too. They have a good cocktail menu as well. I recommend making a reservation in advance. Parking is free & can take a bit of time to find a spot since there are several restaurants in the same area. I'd say just come a few minutes in advance. When busy, it may take up to 20-30 minutes to find a spot. Overall this place is amazing.
Ordered the hamburger steak medium.
It came raw & on return from the kitchen it was well, well done.
Sides were not hot also.
Definitely not a 20 oz rib steak
More like a 15-16 oz
A little pricey
I had a steak ordered medium came almost raw..& the quality of the meat wasn't great..the waitress though was very nice & pleasant..
The owner enjoys bumping into guests who are seated repeatedly, & yell talking right behind you.
Good luck speaking with whoever you go with.
They put steaks in an incinerator to char the outside but not even cook it to rare on the inside.
Everything is over priced.
My wife & I dined at T51 Decarie last night (Feb 14/23). She now has severe diarrhea. She ordered the Steak Tartare & I had the crab cakes. Maybe the Tartare was not prepared correctly. We are going to the clinic to check her out. Apart from this the service was sub-par. We were not asked whether we wanted appetizers. We were not finished drinking our cocktail when the meal & our wine arrived. & we were told to ensure we would be gone before 8:30 PM.
For the price that were charged (our bill totaled $140 & we had no appetizers & we shared one cocktail & a dessert), I feel we were overcharged considering the poor service & the food that caused my wife to get sick.
Excellent restaurant! Beautiful decor!
Very clean...even the bathrooms!
Everything we ordered on the menu...as we were 16 people, was delicious & perfectly cooked!
The bio rib steak , filet mignon & braised beef were to die for!
I'm not big on fish, but when I tasted the baked salmon & the salmon tartare...they melted in my mouth & tasted very good!!!
& the appetizers...what can I say We ordered every single one & pigged out on them & all were excellent!!
But my favorite one was the fried rock shrimp! Divine!!!
Last, but not least, the service was superlative! Leah the manager was an Angel & attended to all our needs!
Talia & Mark were amongst the very best waiters I've ever had! They were sweet & gentle & very helpful & very prompt!
If you're looking for flaws you won't find any here...my dears!!!
& this is NOT a paid testimonial!!! Lololol!!!
Dinner on the Patio was fabulous, 'Ate there a year ago, & we ordered the rib steak. Went back last night & have to say the steaks are first rate. Excellent service, outstanding steak & frites.
Friendly service & delicious food, highly recommended the Steak for 2 (Tomahawk) & Oversized party sundae, why?! Try it & you will know
