A Fantastic Dining Experience - Highly Recommend!
I had dinner at Table 51 last night & it was an excellent discovery! Everything I tried was absolutely delicious.
I started with the popcorn shrimp as an appetizer, followed by the roasted salmon with red quinoa as my main dish, along with a side of fries & a Coco-Lada cocktail. Every bite was perfect-I loved it all! I even had a taste of the octopus from my friend's plate, & it was also amazing.
The ambiance & decor are classy & elegant, which made the evening feel extra special. It's a popular spot with a full house, so a reservation is definitely needed, & note that dining time is limited due to high demand.
I was too full to try dessert (next time!), but I'll certainly be going back. Our server was excellent, attentive & friendly, which added to the overall great experience.
Highly recommended for a night out with friends or a special dinner!
Great restaurant! I've eaten here several times & my experience has always been great. Staff is super friendly & the food is delicious! The burgers & salmon tartare are excellent! Also love their dessert menu!
Excellent service! Great waiter, Jeremy, & ambience was fine. Spacious restaurant. Nice table with some background music, that wasn't too loud or offensive.
Shared the popcorn shrimp with my wife, which was excellent - she had salmon that she enjoyed, & I had the Nagano pork chop, which is always super. We were with another couple - their first time having supper at Table 51. They loved it, & said they'll be coming back
All reasonable prices.
Highly recommend this restaurant.👍
Food & service here were really good! Everyone enjoyed their cocktails. I tried a shiny margarita just to see if I'd notice the difference. I did & while tasty it definitely was a bit harsher than a normal one. The calamari, wings & beef bao bun appetizers were good sharing sizes. I had the baked Salmon with red quinoa with a side salad with an apple cider vinaigrette, both of which were very flavorful. The salmon was nicely cooked & flaky with a nice glaze.
The noise level is pretty high in this place from excited echoed conversations so unfortunately you're probably going to have to speak loudly to be heard, but otherwise the ambiance was modern & festive. If you're looking for a good mid priced meal with good menu options give this place a try!
My first time in here & my last , the hostesses at the entrance made me feel like i was disturbing them when i came in. For my table i got this waitress, very short hair, looked constantly annoyed or mad. I'm really disappointed with the service i got tonight. My salmon was dry, it felt as if it stayed on the heat light for a very long time, we did wait almost 1h30 ish, to receive our food after we ordered, the restaurant wasn't full house either.
Brought the family to Table 51 in Montreal for dinner, great vibe & atmosphere. I had the roasted salmon, which was absolutely delicious. It's a solid spot for a nice night out. Just a heads-up: if you're bringing small kids, the bill can add up quickly, so it's not the most budget-friendly for families. But for a once-in-a-while treat, definitely worth it.
We went with a group. We shared entrees, the tartare was great! I had the salmon for dinner, it was excellent! Service was efficient & professional!
Had the salmon, great food & atmosphere. Jimmy runs a good show. I recommend.
We were a big group & our waitress was fantastic. Their cocktails were amazing & a great variety. Our favorites was the basil berry breeze, sour cherry blossom, Moscow mule & spicy marg. Food was delicious, we all had something different & we all loved our appetizer & main meal. Favorite Appetizers: popcorn shrimp, zucchini rolls, Caesar salad, & Bacon cheddar croquette. Main meal: mood for health - the roasted salmon quinoa was delicious. Meat options - grilled chicken & houmous, rib steak with fries, steak was huge & cooked to perfection, Korean short rib was tender & you didn't need a knife, it was just pulling apart. Seafood option- maryland crab cake is a great choice, love the kale salad that comes with it. Salad options - Asian salad & Fashion salad are great choices too. All plates were big! There was no room for dessert.
Great experience at Table 51. This was my first visit to this location & it did not disappoint. Large restaurant with a great atmosphere, bar scene & good energy. $10 martini night was a fun way to start off the evening. Shared a few appetizers & the definite standout was the wings, some of the best I've ever had, beautifully French-trimmed (so no messy fingers) & fried to perfection in a delicious sauce; highly recommend. For the main course I couldn't decide between the braised beef in red wine sauce or the Korean short ribs. Opted for the Korean rib, & while it was tender & delicious, I didn't get a Korean taste to it, in fact it was a bit too sweet, & would opt for the richer braised beef rib next time, which means I'll definitely be back. The shrimp cocktail & salmon tartare were also part of our appetizers which were quite enjoyable. Overall a satisfying dinner complimented by a very friendly staff. Thank you.
Allow me to preface my review by saying this is not the type of restaurant I generally prefer to go to. I generally try to support smaller local places that are quieter & more laid back. Service here is very efficient & nice, waiter was knowledgeable about all the dishes. Service isn't really warm & chatty, more efficient but for many people I'm sure that's ideal. They have a lot of staff so tables are reset quickly, water is always poured & the suiteur makes food delivery fast as well. The place is very loud (again not my personal preference) but for people who like "vibe" I suspect this is not an issue. Most importantly, the food: Let me preface this part by saying I cook for a living. I had the salmon. This dish was basically perfect. The composition was absolutely spot on. Whoever designed this dish really understands food. Every element was well thought out & everything on the plate worked together exactly as it should. This type of dish composition is usually reserved for higher end restaurants like bouillon bilk (my fave). So I just can't say how impressed I was. The sauce was perfect, the crispy additions (fennel & yellow peppers) to the quinoa were perfect, the quinoa was clearly rinsed & cooked spot on & fluffy. The salmon was also cooked perfectly (personally I should have asked for less cooked but it was done just right for mass audiences). All that to say bravo to the team behind the food. When I need a dinner spot with parking I would 100% return to table 51.
The waitresses are friendly & knowledgeable! The music was excellent & the food was amazing! The Mediterranean chicken is to go for & the roasted salmon with quinoa is delicious! The pecan dessert was just perfect for 2 people!
I had the grilled salmon with carrot sauce. Was very bland. Server was attentive & polite & the place has a nice ambiance. Overall, I found it to be overrated & expensive.
I had the bao buns , my friend had the salmon. We shared a Caesar salad & key lime pie. Everything was delicious.
The staff are always so friendly & attentive. Great ambience.
My go to place as there is a large variety in the menu & everything is always very tasty.
Last night i came to your restaurant with my friend. We ordered double stuffed lobster tacos to share as an appetizer & for our main meal the Gucci burger & the salmon tartare. I'm sorry to say that within one hour of our meal i was experiencing extreme stomach pain & i was keeled over in pain. I never experienced this before & it was terrible. My friend also had stomach issues throughout the night. I wanted you to be aware of this because it was shocking to us to have such an extreme reaction.
Every time we come here, the food is always good. I really like shrimp burger & salmon tartare but their salads & steaks are great too. They have a good cocktail menu as well. I recommend making a reservation in advance. Parking is free & can take a bit of time to find a spot since there are several restaurants in the same area. I'd say just come a few minutes in advance. When busy, it may take up to 20-30 minutes to find a spot. Overall this place is amazing.
Excellent food & service. The Salmon with quinoa is my favourite.
I had the crabcakes, which I did not find, particularly flavourful & nowhere near as good as the salmon tartare, which is what I had last time. Our party was seated at a table for four that was in direct line with the door. Every time the front door of the restaurant & the inner doors were opened which was quite frequently on a Saturday night we were hit with a blast of chilly air. We requested that the curtain in front of the inner doors be pulled closed to minimize the breeze but unfortunately this was never done. I will come back to table 51 but I'll make sure I'm sitting on the other side of the restaurant so that I don't catch that horrible wind in winter which could be quite cold. Service was very pleasant & fast.
Table 51 has become our favourite go to restaurant. We love the menu with its outstanding appetizers, main courses. desserts & martinis!. We have introduced many of our friends to Table 51. They have loved it. On Saturday night, we were a party of 10. Everyone was very impressed! ! I usually have the exceptional roast salmon. This time I ordered the ravioli which was outstanding. Mark our server was excellent & very accommodating...he took a great picture of our group. The music/noise level which has been an issue in the past was barely audible. Thank you Jimmy for that. We love your restaurant & love you!
