I ordered an iced matcha & it cost me 8 bucks for this… if you know matcha you know it's supposed to be way darker. I've gotten more concentrated matchas at other places for 2 dollars less. I expected better for the price. It also took almost 20min before they got to my order. Don't get me wrong the place is calm & beautiful & the staff was sweet. I'm just disappointed that I paid for matcha flavoured milk instead of a proper one.

Très bon dîner : des plats frais, bien présentés & parfaitement assaisonnés. Le personnel est accueillant & le service efficace. L'endroit offre une atmosphère conviviale qui donne envie de revenir.

Un endroit vraiment charmant ! Le café est excellent, les pâtisseries sont délicieuses - surtout la tarte au citron - & le décor crée une ambiance chaleureuse. Le service est attentionné & toujours souriant. Une adresse où l'on revient avec plaisir.

Where do I begin?
What used to be the choice for many people as a neighborhood favorite is now a mere shadow of itself.

The food has become much more expensive...
the choices are limited...
& the quality is very inconsistent.
The service varies from indifferent to rude.

The general atmosphere is clean, but very beige & formulaic.
The former rustic charm has been painted over (literally) in favor of a beige'trendy' esthetic.

At least, the new owners had the decency to drop the'Rustic' from the store's name.
However, they still use the name'Sweet Lee's' ... an insult to the previous owners' legacy.

This is a short update as of 30th of August, 2026.
Things have not improved...
It's still over-priced...
Quality is still subpar ...
Service is random.
I've noticed other clients of the REAL Sweet Lee's are also very disappointed.
Truly a shame!

J'étais une cliente régulière, mais depuis quelques temps je constate que les pâtisseries ont un goût de'passé'. Je pense notamment aux gateaux au fromage. J'ai pris celui aux oreos & je suis certaine que cela faisait + de 2 jours qu'il était dans la vitrine. Il avait pris le goût des autres choses dans la vitrine. Bref c'était pas frais. Vu le prix, ce n'est pas normal......

Le personnel était sympathique mais le service médiocre & la nourriture de piètre qualité. On a attendu 30 minutes pour un sandwich pré-fait & un café filtre. Leur borne de self-checkout semble être défectueuse, le décor est cliché, les sièges malpropres. À première vue ça avait l'air bien, mais c'était honnêtement nul.

Service was slow & disorganized. Croque was cold. Forgot my friends cookie. I asked for cutlery & they forgot. Spoke french but spoke back in english. Tried to speak to owner & he gave attitude & left. Boss came over to ask what was wrong & got angry & started yelling at me. Didn't offer a resolve just wanted to argue. They also let dogs into the store.
& re: your response is all made up nonsense. I don't swear in public places, my parents actually taught me manners unlike yourself. Learn some hospitality, your response is comical
