After being diagnosed with Celiac disease, amongst other food allergies and intolerances, my passion for baking became an obsession! I created my own recipes and gluten free flour blends to be able to recreate my favorite foods and baked goods. I have dedicated my life to sharing my creations with our Gluten Free Community. We are a market leader in gluten free products, constantly evolving and perfecting our recipes. I am proud to offer our customers a wide range of Gluten free baked products as well as Cake and Baking mixes to make in the comfort of your own home.
From desserts, to breads, pizza and more, we create superb gluten free equivalents to all our favorite recipes. And honestly…most of us wouldn’t be able to tell the difference. They’re THAT good!!!
Overall the reviews describe Susie Sans Gluten as a lifeline for people with celiac disease or gluten intolerance, offering a wide range of gluten free staples, breads, desserts and ready to eat items with a strong emphasis on cross contamination safety and ongoing product improvement as new options arrive. The store is noted for being clean, well organized and staffed by friendly, helpful personnel, with Friday takeout meals adding convenience. Many customers praise the quality and variety of in house made products and mention favorites such as pizzas and pastries, while some note that prices can be high for specialty items and a few pastries are overly sweet or have grainy textures. The shop is seen as a go to place for pantry staples and treats, and there are reports of successful gluten free baking using the flours and mixes available, making it feel like a welcoming community hub for those avoiding gluten.
The store carries harder to find products like egg roles & others Asian prepared foods (they were delicious!) that are both gf & soy free. You can find entire lines of products like Katz (GF Twinkie's are great!) as well as fresh baked goods that are clearly labeled. The owner really tries to get new products all the time & provide fast food that people with allergies had grieved long ago & can finally eat again. Thanks Susie!
Probablement la meilleure boutique sans gluten dans la grande région de Montréal, tout y excellent, les croissants aux amandes & les sandwiches au poulet parmesan sont des incontournables... À mettre sur sa liste.
Came here for pantry staples, left with more than I expected, & fresh baked goods too! There were a lot of gluten free products to choose some, many of which I had never seen before in Canada from various stores. When it comes to selection, this is the spot. The pastries were also very good, among the best I've had in Montreal. Ate before I could take a photo, sorry!

Great place for people with dietary restrictions. They a good variety of both the prepared desserts & packaged gluten-free ingredients. I found they mistly focus on the gluten-free products, so I hope they expand their options for people with allergies to eggs & nuts, as well.
A real gem for all of us with restricted diets. It's worth the drive out, & I'm always discovering something new amongst their products. Their own baked goods are phenomenal. I always say I'm lucky they aren't closer to my home, or I would be there all the time.
I bought the brownie cheesecake, I bought it at Mamie Clafoutis in Marche 440 laval. The cake was very good, but my house might have been very warm, the cake was more like a soft serve ice cream, instead of cheesecake consistency. So did not stay together when I cut it. The cake was eaten anyway, after I put it back in the freezer, it stayed together very well, & was delicious. The owner offered me another cake on them. Seeing how much the owner cared about her product & offered me a cake on the house, I changed my star rating overall. It's nice to have the owner contact you & try & rectify the problem. I do not go to Laval often, I did not write the review in hopes of getting a free cake. I will continue to buy her products, as I have often in the past. Everything that was bought there was very good.
We have started to use Suzie's Gluten Free Bread & our customers are loving it. Not just the taste, however the softness & texture makes it even more wanting. Thank you Suzie. Amazing.
Fantastic food, but abhorrently expensive. Susie's gluten free empire & her $40 cakes are even replacing the stock of cheaper gluten free cake brands at my local grocery stores.
