Fantastic restaurant that I have been to countless times. Each & every time, the food was delicious & the service was friendly both during lunch times & dinner times. The food does get pricey for dinner, especially if you plan to only eat sushi, but I believe the quality is worth the price. Lunch time is a lot more affordable & still offers a decent selection.

J'adore cet endroit, il me fait un grand plaisir de prendre le pont pour quitter l'île & aller chez yasu, ce sont mes sushis préférés. J'ai un bémol par contre, le service est vraiment long, les clients sur place n'on pas priorité sur tout les takes outs. La dernière fois que j'y suis allé le restaurant était vide & avant d'être servi j'ai du attendre 45 minutes. Trop long, vraiment trop long. Les clients au restaurant devrait être servi en priorité.
A casual & family-friendly eatery in the south shore, one of our rotating restaurants for years. They offer an full array of authentic Japanese dishes ranged from the comforting udon katsu to the refined elegance of nigiri. In addition to an extensive list of Entrées from cold/fried/grilled/baked, the succulent Rimouski Uni & the flavorsome Alaska snow crab have lately made theirs ways to the chalkboard menu. Since the new owner/chef has taken over, the service has seen remarkable improvement & has even undergone a partial redecoration recently. At last, the awkward black leather tablecloths have been removed & those uncomfortable round chairs have been replaced. While the new owner's culinary skills are still evolving & have yet to match those of his predecessor, the food remains quite enjoyable & satisfying.
Ce sont les meilleurs sushis sur la Rive-Sud de Montréal (& même au-delà!). Mais en plus, le staff est incroyablement sympathique! Le chef prend le temps de nous jaser en travaillant & il est toujours souriant. J'y vais depuis 20 ans, & la qualité est toujours présente! Mais j'avoue que j'ai un faible pour les sushis du chef propriétaire actuel, que j'avais connu au Yasu à La Prairie! Délicieux!
Nous avons fait préparer à l'avance & rendu sur place, la commande était prête alors aucune attente. Les employés étaient très respectueux & professionnel & au final, les sushis étaient excellent. La présentation était aussi superbe mais je n'ai pas pensé prendre une photo, ce sera pour la prochaine fois!
Been going to Sushi Yasu in Brossard for over 10 years now, the price obviously have gone up over the years, but this price increase applies to all Montreal's restaurants. Even with the increased prices I never get disappointed going to Sushi Yasu because their food is just amazing, & always get good service. One of my favorite restaurants to go in Brossard.
Hands down the best, most authentic Japanese fare in or around Montreal. The karaage in particular is so tender & juicy; 1000/10! The staff are also really lovely! We'll definitely be back to try some more of their delicious offerings!

On a pris des sushis pour emporter. Très belle sélection, merveilleusement préparés & présentés. & les prix sont tout à fait convenables & abordables. Merci à toute l'équipe féminine.

Best sushi joint in the area, in a little gem of a strip mall. Staff are polite, & the sushi is of a good quality. They also have Quebec sea urchin from Rimouski, which is special.
Very pleased with this restaurant, love the traditional sushi & menue option. Im not a fan of saucy / cream cheese / funky sushi & just want fresh fish & good rice & that's what i got. Also im very very very picky about tempura & they were delicious. Service was also great! I will absolutely come back :)
