This review is for takeaway. We have ordered twice at Sushi Ste-Catherine. Overall, the quality of the sushis is decent. We ordered here due to the competitive price-point, but you really do get what you pay for. The rolls were pretty sloppily-made on both occasions. The salmon quality is just ok, not as fresh as it can be in the taste, quality & appearance. We likely will not return even for the competitive price-point.
It was nice, good sushi, the fish was very fresh & the dish didn't take long to prepare. The waitress was kind enough to place the heater near my group because we were all quite cold.
The sushis were really good! The freshness of the salmon & others topping with warm rice made me feel like homemade sushi! It's was delicious! The fried side dishes we ordered were really hot & fresh! Maybe have a fully charge phone since you've got to order from your smartphone !! Will definitely go back for AYCE
One of the best sushi restaurants in the area... very fast service for buffet style meaning all you can eat.. very fresh fish.. great selection to choose from. I recommend you start out small ordering & if want more get more.. do not want to waste plus you will get charged for wasted food.. ice cream was very tasty... best part was outside on this night 8-10-14 saw the most vibrant rainbow in the sky which turned into a double rainbow... it was so bright it stopped people in it tracks inside & out to take photos of it... best experience ever & with my favorite food too win win... so if you want a great sushi restaurant this is a must to check out..

Small, charming spot. Food was okay, nothing special, but fresh enough. However they didn't mention it was all you can eat, & the host tapped through the online menu so I couldn't tell, & after we received our small portions they mentioned it was all you can eat & we only had 15 minutes left to order more. The food took about 15-20 minutes to come out so we couldn't try more. For the price of $80 for two people it really wasn't worth it at all.
27$ lunch time during a week day. Selection was acceptable, but no salmon sashimi * taste was there, everything seemed fresh. They charge you extra for side sauce, which is deceiving & affects your experience.
We had a great time at Sushi Ste-Catherine. The food was fresh, the menu had a lot of options & the atmosphere was pleasant. Will definitely visit again :)

Food very fresh. Good quality. Quick service. Love the sushi & General Tao chicken. All very reasonable priced for the quality. We took the lunch hour "All you can eat"

This place is definitely a bang for your buck, all you can eat fresh cooked food to order. They have very high volume of traffic so the food is always fresh. The service is not great as most of the staff don't speak french & some barely speak english but if you point at your empty glass they will bring a pitcher of water & get you that refill. Over all the menu has changed a bit since Covid & lost a couple of items but it's still a great value & a good spot to go eat as a group. We often go there with the staff from the office & it's great. Make sure that the person who orders keeps track of the cold vs hot items as the hot kitchen is usually longer so I suggest placing sushi orders first to get everyone a bit of food quickly then make sure not to order too much sushi or you will be over welmed when the hot food like the brochettes & cooked meats finally get to your table. You have to ask for the sauce & (fake) wassabi aka green horse raddish but when you ask they will bring it as well as other sauces such as spicy mayo.
