After reading some of the not supporting reviews here, I came somewhat hesitant, but ended up very satisfied.
Service was effective & decent. This includes: delivering the food, taking off empty dishes, filling water & handle the bill.
They still use pencil & paper. Typically my orders were accurate, however I did order green salad, & I don't recall receiving such.
Unlike some other all you can eat sushi places, the lunch selection was impressive, including grilled items, & torched options. The dessert reflects some ice cream potions.
The price is cheaper than other all you can eat sushi. which makes me think that I go the best value for my buck.
I definitely recommend Sushi St-Denis for an all you can eat lunch place.
Tips:
1) Seniors (65+ ) pays about 2/3 of the price!
2) It took me 4 visits to figure out that soft drink (pop) & tea are included, as well.
This is a great little sushi restaurant in Montreal. The restaurant is very nice & clean with a good atmosphere. The food came out very quickly & tasted very good. The fish tasted fresh & all the ingredients were high quality. My waiter seemed a little cold but I think that was because he did not speak english very well. The manager Noy was very friendly & talk with me for a bit after I finished my meal. I think the best thing about this restaurant were their prices which were very good for sushi in Montreal. I overall would recommend this place if you like sushi.

We had dinner there last night - first time & it will not be our last! My only complaint - I have none !!! Service - food - value for price - 10 out of 10. Good selection - loved the shrimp tempura - everything we ordered was great. Everyone we sat around were enjoying as well. Nice to see what others had so we tried as well. Liked the fact we could order with phone & QR code. The ice cream at the end - Yum!!! Perfect finisher. Not a huge place so keep that in mind - we had a great experience.
Dates of visits: Feb. 14, 2024 & Sept. 17, 2024. We came in for my husband's Birthday on a Tuesday night (Sept. 17). We made a reservation but the place isn't very busy so I guess walk-ins are possible. However during Valentine's Day it was a must to make reservations so I'm glad I did. We love both times we visited. Food is delicious. There are more food choices at dinner but both lunch & dinner options are pretty good for the price. I'd say food was continuously consistent in terms of taste & freshness (sushi). Dining place is clean but the CR not so much. The first time we came (Valentine's Day) it is clean but last September 17 it wasn't. Staff are very accommodating on both times we went so we are very happy with them. We will definitely come back again!!! This has become our favorite go to place if we want an AYCE. Price for 3 pax including taxes & tips came to $151.
I used to come here many times with my husband. I love they way they serve. Not too much on plate then can order again. Many things I try was fresh & delicious. Very friendly staff. Ice cream is simple but awesome. No doubt to come back. Quality & quantity over the price!

excellent food & price, but when you order more food, from one moment to the next they bring you the bill without asking for it & the worst thing is they charge you the tip according to their taste, not what you want to give, terrible when collecting the tip
Medium quality food for medium price. It's not the cheapest , but it's not expensive either. Food also is not the best, bot not bad. Includes soda/pop too (as much as you want). Also, those places are very similar, but on each of them there is always something to recomend. & here on Sushi St Dennis, every time I come , I always need to have the the beef onion roll & the grilled squid tentacles. You should too!!! Recomended!
Went to sushi St-Denis a while ago for the first time. For a all you can eat sushi restaurant I have only good stuff to say. Fresh food & good variety for the price. The service was good, the waitress polite but as most of this kind of places not very talkative or smiling. Still would go back anytime for their quality/price.
