We (my daughter & I) arrived around 17h30, I took a menu & looked the photos in the Google maps reviews. The woman(cashier) first thing she told me'we close at 20h00' but it was 17h30!
I said okay you will close at 20h00, understood. Then she said something to the cook in their native language.
While we were deciding what to eat she gave a pick up order to a white gentleman, she was kind & smiled at him. Right after I approched her & the smile in her face disappeared.
I asked which items in one photo on Google maps were the ones in the menu, she looked at me & said with a straight face: just choose what you want, turn around & gave me her back to continue preparing orders while she spoke again to the cook in their native language & per his answer & expression he refused to assist me. Then I told them, can someone please help me with my question & until then the cook said look at items number 16, 30... I said thank you sir, that's what I needed to know.
I am an hispanic (latina) mother with a child, both very eager to try the best sushi in town according to Google maps reviews, but how hurt I started feeling & understood they were being racist with us.
I return the menu to its place & we left while they continue to prepare more orders to other local customers waiting.
I am sharing my experience because I think the owners & employees of the restaurants should treat all their customers equally. I felt bad & my daughter witnessed all this.
This was the first & last time I come to this business. I choose my dignity.

Je commande mes sushis depuis bientôt plus de 3 ans à cet endroit. Ce sont les meilleurs à Sherbrooke & à un prix abordable. Le propriétaire & sa famille sont vraiment accueillants. Il faut appeler d'avance (la veille) pour obtenir vos sushis. Ils sont vraiment populaires. Les prix sont aussi abordables.

Les meilleurs sushis en ville, point final. Généreux, colorés, viandés, frais ils sont imbattables. Victime de leur succès, il faut penser appeler d'avance pour vous assurer de les avoir à la bonne heure!

De loin les meilleurs sushis que nous avons mangé & on en a essayé beaucoup, dans différentes villes. Ils sont gros & frais. Délicieux. Très abordable, une soixantaine de dollars pour un plateau de 50 mrcx. Ça ne parait de rien de l'extérieur, mais ça vaut le détour & je partagerai assurément la découverte.

Les sushis sont tout simplement excellents ! Assurez-vous de commander à l'avance. Prix très raisonnable. Si seulement ils étaient ouverts 7/7✨

Unless you plan on ordering your sushi 1 week in advance, forget even considering this place. I've tried numerous times to order from here (4 days in advance) & they simply tell me it's impossible. Will have to try a chain restaurant in Sherbrooke if you want sushi, because this place is not it.

Une catastrophe pour avoir une commande à 18h il faut apeller le matin à 10h ....impossible de se faire comprendre.....quel dommage 😭

Jai déjà vu meilleures côté goût mais reste abordable si taime les SHUSHI :) .
JE RECOMMANDE.
