Having been to well over a dozen AYCE sushi-izakayas in the Montreal region, i can say with some authority that Sushi Hin is one of if now the best one. The game changer is their rice. It has a hint of sweetness. Presentation was next level. It really impressed how the owner who personally checks in on us a few times, took great pride in the stunning savoury creations that his team spoiled us with.
We went on a Sunday, & the restaurant was packed! We were impressed with how quick, attentive, warm & efficient the service was. Great staff & I would say that this is easily one of my top AYCE in Montreal. Quality is great especially for the price. Enjoyed their rolls, sashimi & skewers. We also enjoyed the cocktails (go for the lychee martini yum) & also the nice selection of sakes & soju. Will definitely return & happy that the West Island gets to have this gem in their area!
The salmon sashimi, oil fish sashimi, beef tataki, & avocado rolls are consistently fresh. But the salmon pizza was a miss for me. The breaded rice was cold & not too crispy. The chicken pad thai was more savory than sweet & was a bit dry. The flavor was too subtle. I wish it had a bolder flavor & more sauce.

Very good all-you-can-eat sushi experience with convenient parking available. While not the absolute best I've had, the sushi is generally fresh & flavorful, with a decent variety of rolls. The service is friendly & efficient, & the atmosphere is pleasant. There were a few minor inconsistencies in the quality of some rolls, but overall, it's a solid choice for satisfying your sushi cravings at a reasonable price. It's definitely a step up from the old Sushi St. Jean that used to be in the same location.
My fiancée & I decided to try what used to be sushi st-jean & now is sushi hin. Let's just say the past is the past because the new management & owner has really given this place a new life. We always take more pictures trying out new places for the reviews, but this time we were both so into the food & the options that it completely made us forget to take any. Great atmosphere, great sushi & even the meat options were simply better than other buffets. We will be coming back 100% & the manager/owner is also really kind & clearly cares to make the restaurant work, recommend it to everyone to at least give it a try, if you don't like it, we'll take it for ourselves 😁😁😁
Came for lunch today with my mother & my step father & his son, very nice environment, very clean, food was fast & delightful. Spoke to the owner briefly as it was my step fathers birthday, he gave us a nice birthday greeting & made sure to make us feel very welcomed. Absolutely loved it. Good job to the staff.
Excellent ! Je me suis faite surprendre par la taille des plats ! D'habitude les morceaux sont petits alors j'ai commandé sans prêter attention ... lorsque tout est arrivé j'étais surprise de constater la taille des morceaux ! C'était difficile de terminé les plats sans gâcher mais c'était tellement délicieux & frais que j'ai pu tout terminé ! Grand choix à volonté contrairement à d'autres places qui le midi restreignent les choix. Je recommande les yeux fermés ! Le service était excellent nous n'avons jamais manqué d'eau , nous étions toujours débarrassés lorsque les assiettes étaient vides.
NEW restaurant, NEW friendly management. Food is fresh with lots of selection. Service is friendly & efficient. Best all you can eat hands down. Highly recommend.
Great experience. Sushi is incredible. Staff are really friendly & talkative. Price is great. It is one of the restaurants I & my family always want to go back. Lunch is cheaper. Both lunch & dinner are amazing.

Been three twice now since I'm in town for 2 weeks. Great all you can eat sushi buffet where you just scan the QR code to bring up their menu in your phone & start ordering away. The menu also have pictures of items for easier food identification which is nice if you don't know what the food is called. Plenty of parking in front of the restaurant. Nice clean restaurant with lots of staff on hand. Staffs are nice, attentive, & work in unison to bring food to your table & taking empty plates away. The foods are fresh & nicely presented every plate. The beef & salmon takaki are some of the delicious dishes that cost $20 a plate at a different restaurant. Great foods. Great service. Great value all around.
I had high hopes coming here after seeing so many media reviews, but ended up extremely disappointed. I've been to many AYCE across Montreal & Toronto. This place would rate near the bottom of all the ones I tried. The food wasn't great. They kept giving me the wrong order, & when I asked for napkins because my son spilled water, the waiter just gave me a grumpy stare. I had to ask for water refills before getting any. It was just all around disappointing.
A little old & outdated atmosphere It was dirty with a lot of flies inside which was weird Food was okay Not as great as the Instagram & fb post suggested We didn't get everything we ordered at first & when we asked for that we ordered the server actually made a comment Was strange for an all you can eat place
