I want to preface that the service was excellent. It was quick, every one was so nice, no complaints on that. However, I'm so sad to say that the food was really underwhelming. The water had an aroma of mould. The rice was overcooked & unseasoned. It just tasted like mush. Everything tasted the same & there was no smoked salmon which is one of my favourite. I'm sorry but I cannot recommend this place.

I was a pretty disappointed with my experience, I saw they had a new management & new name via tiktok (I went before when it was Sushi St-Jean), it looked super good on video so I wanted to try it. The sashimi octopus was still half frozen (half hard & icey) & because of that it was really chewy. It had less choices than before considering the price we were paying, I was really disappointed with the choices they had. The service was okay, they got our orders mixed up multiple times & they brought some of my orders on an other table behind us & when we did get our new order, it wasn't really tasty. I had to ask to fill my water about 2 times. Only 1 server was super sweet & nice, I should have gotten his name. We had an sleeping infant with us & they somehow placed us right next to a huge family with 6 kids, so it was pretty loud & chaotic (no judgement to them) it just made our atmosphere really stressful with our baby. Drove 30-40 minutes to come try it too, which made it more disappointing.
Les sushis sont bons , Service rapide même limite trop rapide par contre côté cuisine tout goûtaient la même chose . Dessert pas frais Service à revoir!!! nous nous sommes fait reprocher d'avoir laisser 2-3 morceaux de poulet général tao ainsi qu'un restant de riz frit . En nous disant qu'on faisait du gaspillage. Il y a une limite nous sommes pas obliger de nettoyer l'assiette . Nous n'y retournerons pas c'est certain .
Les sushis étaient bons & le service rapide, les viandes sont toutes apprêtées de la même façon. Les desserts n'étaient pas très bons. Ce qui fait en sorte que nous n'y retournerons pas c'est qu'on c'est fait reprochés de laisser quelques morceaux dans nos dernières assiettes, bien qu'elles étaient presque toutes mangées. Mauvais service.
Resto Sushi a volonté. Resto accueillant, jolie decor & propre. Service rapide. Commande se font a partir de votre cellulaire. Il suffit de scanner le code QR de votre table. Les sushis sont bon & frais fait, alors attention aux plats chaud, car c est vraiment chaud. Jolie présentation. Prix raisonable A part la musique qui etait tres forte, rien de négatif a dire.

Came here with low expectations, but it was a nice surprise ! The food came out quick, empty plates were taken out quickly, napkins & water were refilled without asking, overall a nice evening dinner. The kitchen food was pretty good, nothing was warm, everything was hot like it came out of the stove. We especially liked the tempura, the beef skewers & beef rolls with green onions. There are the classics that you can expect from an all you can eat (dynamite, california, dragon eye, sashimi, etc.) & they were fine ! Overall I liked it, it is pretty expensive, 40$ per person on a Thursday.
We will come back here that's 💯 percent sure. • The food is very delicious & fresh with a great customer service 5/5 I met the new owner Chaoming & he is very kind & welcoming, so I recommend this. You guys should try it too! 💯💯💯
Use to be sushi st Jean, now new owners new menu. The food is great, quality is really good & really happy with the choices. New manager was nice to come over to see how are meal was at the end. Will definitely come back
Restaurant formule all you can eat. J'ai été très impressionné par le service attentionné. On commande la nourriture sur notre téléphone au fur & à mesure qu'on en veut. Il y a vraiment trop de choix & nous avons apprécié tout ce que nous avons goûté. Nous y retournerons avec des amis assurément. Le restaurant était plein à un moment & ce n'était pas bruyant, belle ambiance!

I am surprised at the negative reviews. Disregard them as they are not accurate. I was just there today & 2 weeks ago. & also last month. Service is faster than a thunderbolt & meat is pure gold. Everything is served fresh. You will be seated with a smile. There is air conditioning & the ambience is great 👍
Best sushi ever. please ignore the fake reviews, this place is probably getting hate from other sushi places. I read all the "bad" reviews & they are all lies. It's exactly the opposite. Service is very fast. You will never find a hair. Seriously? Why are these people lying. I've been there atleast a dozen times this dinner is cleaner than a church. Even thier wasabi & pickles taste very fresh. Food is top quality directly from the water & never frozen. I never tasted something as fresh & Authentic. Absolutely the best of the best
This place NEVER disappoints. Dont listen to fake reviews that are bieng posted by fake people. I work in the food industry & noticed that this place was 4.9 when it opened & it is STILL 5 stars. This restaurant is SO GOOD I am guessing there are competitors who post nasty reviews. They are fake. I haven't met anyone who ate there & complained. We all love it. I dont mind driving 50 min to come down here. If you're having a bad day, you should honeslty invest in a good experience. Food is HEAVENLY. The vibe is just exquisite. You will never ever get this quality of taste offered in every single dish anywhere in Montreal. My fav are the spicy mussels, Tattaki, Teriyaki Salmon, all handrolls, dumplings, tender chicken skewers, oozing shrimps... actually EVERYTHING. Every dish is truly a work of art. Taste is super original making you feel like you traveled somewhere far. Please TIP THESE GUYS GOOD. I wish we can all report the fake reviews & help this resto reach back to 4.9. 120% best sushi in Montréal. Nothing compares to sushi Hin. Every other place truly sucks. Looking forward to host my next big birthday.🍣
