Food was exceptional but service was horrible. The team didn't advise us that another reservation was coming up. The waiter came up to us saying it was awkward to get us out as we were almost done our makis. I asked him if we could get the dessert & he said no. He spoke to management & there was nothing they could do. The least they could do is offer something on the house. It's not our fault that the food came out slow.Voir plus

First of all, food was great. The waiter was nice too.
The cons:
- Music was a bit loud but we were seated under the speakers
- The wait: It was very long... 10-15 mins for the waiter to take our drink order, we got our tea very fast but the cocktail was another wait for at least 10 to 15 mins (because the waiter said that the bar didn't receive the order). After that it took another 10-15 mins for the waiter to take our food order.
The Pros:

Refreshed my appreciation for sushi. I was served by Wilson, who was attentive & conversational, made it feel welcoming. The space is small, I'd recommend timing your visit off of busy hours. The small interior adds to the dining experience, as it allows you to focus on the food & atmosphere. The sushi quality was phenomenal. I paid for a premium experience, & I got one. The attention to flavours & the quality of the fish were superb. Sushi of this grade should be enjoyed fresh, not via a delivery app. The yuzu cocktail was perfect, a strong recommendation.Voir plus
What a gem !a friend of mine recommended this restaurant & after getting a haircut downtown we decided to give it a go . We were not disappointed ! Food was excellent , as a matter of fact some of the best sushi we have ever had , service was fast & attentive & atmosphere cozy & hip at the same time . We will be back !Voir plus
Most probably the best sushi in MTL. Was trying to find best place & was never satisfied even with most recommended places in the city . Today it was insight. Can compare the quality with most reputable places in the world like Zuma, Nobu ect. Amazing quality, amazing taste, service , highly recommended!Voir plus

Amazing food, amazing service!! Turned around & noticed GSP sitting right behind me. My date even gave her number to GSP's friend by passing it over to waiter thinking I wouldn't notice 😂🤦🏼♂️
I mean it was a first date, & GSP's friend, can I blame her? 😅
Overall a great night, kind of wish the waiter wouldn't have participated in this transaction though. I was still gentleman enough to pay for dinner, & tip the waiter.
I'm not even going to take a star away for the service because honestly it was absolutely great, just make sure to choose your dates better than me before you go there so she doesn't run away with a famous person's friend 😂
