Excellente assiette de sashimi, les sushis étaient corrects, mais sans plus. Bon service, rapide & courtois. Très cher dans l'ensemble. Merci pour la belle soirée !Voir plus
So GOOD. Fresh ingredients. Portions are big. Will go again
Vraiment deçu..... Pour 150$ par personne sans calculer le pourboire.Voir plus

Had an amazing experience here, but be prepared to pay. It was the best sushis I ever tasted. The restaurant was just the good size & not too noisyVoir plus
Great staff & service, highly recommended & will definitely be back
Excellent food with great service. You need to try this restaurant!
For our first time visiting hidden fish the staff really made us feel welcomed & gave us a phenomenal experience. Definitely coming back
Ce fut une excellente façon de conclure en beauté la période des fêtes.
À la prochaine.
Fantastic as always. Hidden Fish is my go to in the city for fantastic nigiri or other delicious specials. Great team working with you & fantastic to see familiar faces. Thanks for great evening.
The food was fantastic, the music was not too loud, so i was able to have a nice conversation. Service was very good. The parking situation was a little confusing & dissapointing. On the website & in the restaurant we were told that it will be 10-15$ however when we got back to our car we found a note threatening a fine from ville de montreal & whe we went to see the person in charge he said to disregard the note then they charged us 20$ even if we showed a restaurant receipt (saying that it was a busy night)
We got our food over 2 hours after ordering.Voir plus
Best Sushi we've had in Montreal! Every bite is heaven & the staff are tremendous. Since our first visit in the summer of 2022 they have added an additional dining room/bar on the upper level, which we loved.Voir plus
This was my second time going to Hidden Fish. After I got home from this recent visit I left a review with Libero (online reservation company Hidden Fish uses) & did not get any response from the restaurant to my complaint. So I will repeat it here. First off I will state the good. The restaurant put us at a very nice table after I mentioned one person in my party had mobility issues & was immunocompromised. Secondly, the hostesses & wait staff overall were friendly & polite. Thirdly, although the quality was fine & we enjoyed our meal it was not as good as the first time we went (in the fall) which absolutely blew our minds. In the fall we only had a la carte nigiri. A lot had to do with size of the nigiri & selection you get with the Chef's Choice. The size of the Nigiri for the Chef's Choice is about a third smaller than the Nigiri a la carte. So if you have the funds I would opt for the a la carte Nigiri. I would say you'll spend more (perhaps ~ $1 more per piece) this way but enjoyment level will be elevated substantially. Of course the more expensive the nigiri the better it is. Also I found the maki had mostly rice & little fish. This included the eel & the albacore. The Oro King maki was good with more fish. We ordered the Premium Sashimi; Chef's Choice Nigiri; several maki; additional nigiri plus drinks; the total bill with tax & tip was ~ $750 for 4 people (which included a total of 84 pieces; 3 mocktails & 1 cocktail). The big issue is we were cheated. Our very last order was Oro King Nigiri & O Toro Nigiri (one of the most expensive nigiri). We saved the best for last. Those are our favourites particularly the O Toro. Note that the waiter takes the order but another person serves all the plates & points out the name of each piece of fish. This "naming" woman looks very serious with microphone attached to her head & a demeanor befitting an army sergeant. She named every piece of fish (with military precision) for every plate & platter that came out. We had the O Toro in our Premium Sashimi & which was pointed out & named. So we had all seen what it looked like. Yet when we ordered another O Toro nigiri it was not O Toro it was Chutoro (fatty tuna vs medium tuna). We ate it & didn't say anything. I like Chutoro & it was good but it wasn't what we ordered & of course there is a difference in price with O Toro being more expensive. Also the O Toro along with salmon are the fish that I could identify easily even before this meal. When the bill came I saw I was charged for O Toro not Chutoro (which is what we were given). Up to this point everyone enjoyed the meal. It was New Year's Eve. Why make a fuss? But when I got home I thought about it & thought WHY would they do this? The chef may have made a mistake with the order (although I find that hard to believe since they are professionals) But the server (who knew her fish) pointed to it & said it was O Toro when it wasn't (when she had named it correctly in the Premium Sashimi just minutes ago). So that was a flat out lie. Note that the restaurant was not busy at all. She was not pressed for time or stressed. So of course this has now put a damper over the whole experience. If you are like me I don't like to be cheated or lied to. It made me wonder if other fish was given to us which weren't what she said they were? So what do I think about Hidden Fish? I am truly very disappointed in an establishment that thinks it's okay to cheat or pull a fast one over their customers.Voir plus
Outstanding sushi with even better preparation! I love sushi & travel a bunch, this place is my favorite! Go see Wilson!!- he is very knowledgeable about their sushi, & usually has some off-menu choices - you should just keep saying Yes to whatever he recommends. Oh & he is an ace mixologist too, so while he is setting you up with some of the finest sushi in North America, he will keep you hydrated with some outstanding sushi & beverage pairings. They opened an extra space upstairs with an additional small cozy bar. If you can catch him up there & sit at the bar, you will have a most excellent sushi experience!Voir plus
