(Update Feb 2024) .... Awesome experience. We had an early reservation 5:45 & had Matthew as a waiter he was excellent. Explained everything & provided a lot of great suggestions. I'm gluten free so he helped me navigate everything that's gluten free. We have (3) different types of nigiri & (3) rolls. Favorite roll was the torched albacore. Great experience highly recommended Really great!! Would love to come back, Florence was our waitress & she was excellent. Sushi was unreal & they accommodated gluten free so well with no problem! Had an amazing dinner with my husband here. Some of the freshest tastiest sushi I've ever had. Definitely recommend the torched albacore roll! We sat at the sushi bar & had a great time. An incredible experience. Our waiter Matthew was exceptional & attentive, great knowledge of his items & flavors. The food was beyond flawless, the nigri were a perfect blend of flavors. My personal favorite were the Unagi & O-Toro but make sure to ask about their toro neck cuts!!Voir plus

Salmon noodle - refreshing & well presented
Premium 24 pc sashimi - fatty tuna texture was not good. It was fibrous causing the fish to get stuck in teeth as opposed to simply melt in mouth. The wagyu was well prepared, & better than what I had in Japan. Hamachi with the citrus emulsion was my preferred fish in the ensemble.
Uni from BC was quite fresh.
nigiri with scallop & foie gras - partner had it. She said it was fantastic. A bit overpriced in my opinion at $25 a piece.
Maki - ridiculously overpriced (triple to what I am used to paying) for the flavor. I wasn't impressed with this at all. The rice that came with scallop maki was hard. the Unagi torched maki was better, but partner found it too sweet.
Just way overpriced. Also, the payment machine did not allow for dollar amount tipping. Default option of tipping begins at 18%...Standard is 15% on the SUBTOTAL.

Amazing restaurant & delicious food & the service was A1.
The only issue (& its not a huge deal), is that the tables we're pretty close to each other to the point where you can hear your neighbors conversations.
