This was our favorite night out when we visited Montreal for the week. The food was amazing as was the atmosphere & service. Really enjoyed the live music. We tried the pierogi, kielbasa, golabki, sznycel mielony. Our favorite was the sznycel mielony, but everything was great!

Restaurant absolument délicieux! La cuisine est authentique & goûteuse, que dire de l'ambiance cozy. Prix plus qu'abordable. Je recommande le menu débutant pour goûter au plus de mets possible !!!
We came across this restaurant by accident, & it was such an amazing experience! Walked into a warm atmosphere greeted by the super nice & talented pianist. Everyone went above & beyond, from seating us on a really busy night to the quick service. Let's not forget the quality of the food - SO GOOD. The barszcz with uszka as well as the periogi were exceptional, made by hand with love. It made me feel like I was eating at Babcia's. Highly recommend Stash Café :)
Absolument génial. Super ambiance, tamisée. Piano doux & agréable le soir de 18h à 22h.
Les toilettes sont à l'étage & propres.
Je n'ai mange polonais que peu souvent mais c'était vraiment délicieux. Le ragoût est délicieux & la spécialité kroketi ( il me semble) (crêpes avec viande ou champignons) sont un délice. Les prix sont très raisonnables, aucun plat ne dépasse les 30$. Très sympathique entre amis ou en couple. Je recommande & y retournerais avec plaisir.
I have been coming to this restaurant since I was a child & every single meal I have loved. This is not upscale fancy dining it's a family type vibe where you sit down chat with your friends & family & eat some delicious comfort food. Stepping into this restaurant is like being brought back into time with a beautiful ambiance that you don't often find in this day & age. The borscht is like a warm hug & their version of a Caesar (dirty polek) might be the best cocktail I've ever had. Staff is friendly if you are friendly to them. They assist us with food intolerances & even sourcing polish grocers in Montreal to get the best (& I mean the best) pickles. This place is a classic & if you don't get it? It's you - not the restaurant.

Tout était superbement délicieux! Nous avons eu un gros coup de coeur ♥? pour ce restaurant. Bravo à toute l'équipe! Le service était vraiment aimable & courtois en plus, & on est sorti de là avec une facture tout à fait raisonnable pour la qualité & la quantité des aliments servis. Nous y retournerons pour essayer leur brunch!
Mal was ganz anderes - und zwar gut! Wir hatten das Debütantmenü um alles zu probieren und es war alles lecker. Mein Favorit sind die Kartoffelpuffer und die Käse-Piroggen. Vorspeise, Nachspeise, Bedienung, Atmosphäre - alles super und empfehlenswert. Ab 17 Uhr gab es sogar Livemusik vom Piano.
This place is next level. Top notch. Servers are all dialled in & go above & beyond to make sure everyone gets the best experience possible (even when the place is packed).
The food is something else. It's not often you find such a unique culinary establishment serving such high quality food. Every dish is great you can't go wrong.
Make a reservation in advance you & literally every other human on earth with a pulse wants to eat here.
Big shoutout to all the staff working the evening of August 30th/2025. Give these people a raise! Crushing it.
Table of 7 people sunday afternoon, room temp water to start, then 6 of us got our food, they forgot my order, I ate once our table was almost finished. Never came around to ask for a second drink, never came around to ask for dessert or coffee order. Clearly short staffed. Hire a runner or bartender/busperson, food was good, that is all 🤷🏼
Really great food overall. Service left a lot to be desired - sat down 15 min after reservation, took 30 min to really order drinks, then the server forgot our drinks & had to get the order again. When we ordered dinner, he didn't write anything down & things were wrong (wrong soups). When we asked to split the bill, he couldn't do it & had actually missed things on the bill (which I guess is to our benefit but not good for business!). A table sitting behind us left because the service was so slow. Would come back, recommend the food but hopefully the service gets a tuneup.
Hearty Polish food in a beautiful atmosphere. Everything from the menu tastes good. slightly slow service due to understaffing. They got a very talented artist playing the piano when we went.
