Located in historic location in old Montreal. Perogies fork tender & delicate. Beef & mushrooms crepes were amazing. Portion & pricing are very reasonable. Didn't have any drinks but couple of polish beers available. Food not heavy at all
Delicious, authentic Polish food! 🇵🇱🥟
As a fellow Pole, these flavours really took me back home. The live piano music made the evening even more special. Highly recommend!
A wonderful experience at Stash Café. I had the pleasure of rediscovering dishes from my roots & introducing them to my wife.
Everything was delicious: the kapusta, the pierogi, & the kie?basa… a real treat! The atmosphere was also excellent, especially thanks to a very talented pianist who made the experience even more enjoyable.
We also shared a lovely moment with one of the waitresses, with whom we talked about our origins & roots.
Generous, authentic food full of memories, served in a warm & welcoming atmosphere. We will gladly come back.
Kocham moj? Polsk?! 🇵🇱
Don't miss this stop if you are in Ok ld Montreal! The food was very authentic. I had the veal schnitzel with potatoes & beer salad. It was tender & tasty. My wife had pierogi's, which she ate the whole thing, a rarity for her. I can't say enough about our server. He really cared about his craft, making sure every glass & piece of silver ware was spotless before it went to a guests table. I watched him wait on over half the tables during a full dinner hour, while training a new server. It was packed & we still were werved promptly & politely. The piano player was very kind & engaging everyone as they came in without missing a note. Stash'swas one of our favorite visits during our 4 day stay!
As a native Polish person, I can confirm the food was truly authentic & delicious. It was clearly made fresh with high-quality ingredients. The pianist music adds very nice touch.
Best Polish restaurant in Montreal. Very authentic, home made, & the service is excellent. Highly recommended.
If you're looking for authentic then this is the place. It was delicious & the quality can't be beat. If you like pierogis, then you must try as an appy. Love the live piano player too! Great atmosphere!
Come (back) for the food & stay for the ambiance. The best authentic & traditional Polish food outside of Poland (& my mom's kitchen). Very reasonable prices with the option of a three-course pre-set menu. Generous portions. Lots of meat but plenty of vegetarian options.
The piano player is always playing when we are here.
First visit to Stash, can't wait to go again! Superb, delicious, authentic Polish food. We had krokiety, potato pancake, beetroot salad, pierogies, bigos & schnitzel followed by peach cobbler for dessert. Wonderful! Wine & mixed drink selection is good. Pleasant atmosphere & service was excellent.
Despite the food being flavorful & authentic, the overall experience was disappointing due to poor customer service. The staff came across as impatient, rude, & dismissive, which took away from an otherwise enjoyable meal.
