Le recensioni così entusiastiche ci hanno spinto a passare da questo forno per assaggiare i bagel. Assolutamente niente di che. Noi ne abbiamo preso uno alla cipolla e uno alla cannella e uvetta: freddi e gommosi. Forse scaldati sarebbero stati meglio, forse sarebbero diventati croccanti? Ma così non erano per niente buoni. Il prezzo perlomeno è basso, mediamente 1,45$ l'uno.
Dentro il negozio altro non è che un forno che fa solo bagel.
Just as good as the other over hyped bagel places but with less crowds. Don't get me wrong, I love Montreal bagels
Iconic Montreal bagels, must experience hot & delicious sesame straight out of the oven, so good, best bagels on earth!
Staple bagel shop featuring wood fired bagels. There's usually some in the oven so you can get a fresh & hot bagel.
Three days in Montreal & three days of bagels for breakfast. Everything I've tried has been delicious (especially when they're hot out of the oven). Personal favourites are the classic sesame & cinnamon raisin. I love being able to watch them make the bagels right in the store. Note that they have a second store on the same street just a couple hundred metres east of this one (doesn't seem to show on Google maps). If something you want isn't hot out of the oven here, you can try the other store.
Small bagel shop with tasty bagels. Just a take away shop with no seating. Cash only but they do have an ATM. I got two bagels to try. The sesame was warm & right out of the oven & delicious. The all dressed bagel was not warm & pretty chewy. I would recommend getting a warm bagel as it was very good.
Heads up! Make sure you are aware that you need to assemble the bagels by buying the toppings you want & that there is no seating area to eat them. Great bagel! I recommend getting one right of the oven.
A very impressive production! It's incredible how they structure their bagel making process & how many bagels they consistently churn out! We got a piping hot sesame bagel & it was incredible - perfectly steamy on the inside & chewy.
They only take cash, & I didn't have any. I tried to get cash from the ATM inside, but my card was declined. So, my group of 4 & I had to go elsewhere.
The bagels are really tasty & affordable. I did got onion, sesame & rosemary which some cream cheese (which you need to purchase extra). All of them tasted great, especially the ones being fresh out of the oven.
Please note that they only accept cash.
My second time to drop in & just grab a bagel, add some cream cheese & a slice of salmon, most amazing way to eat a piece of culture when in Montreal. Absolutely love this place. The staff are always friendly & the bagels are most likely the best in Canada. Want to see my food stories, head over to my YouTube channel Junk Food Japan & let's go !
