Ever since this place was featured on the Netflix show Somebody Feed Phil, I've been wanting to visit-& the hype definitely doesn't disappoint. They have a variety of bagel sandwiches, both veg & non-veg, & my favourite has to be the fig & cream cheese one. It's on the sweeter side but pairs perfectly with an Americano.
This is a cash-only or debit location, so plan accordingly. The ambience is your classic cozy café vibe, & the patio is the best part.
If you're lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of how the bagels are freshly made on-site. I genuinely enjoyed watching the entire process. The staff is super friendly & adds to the charm of the place.View more
Here for my Birthday 🎂 & enjoyed every bit of is the food was good I had to take some bagels home tooView more
I got there early enough on a Sunday morning the the line wasn't too long - I only waited a few minutes before I was able to go inside. There is a person who comes out to greet everyone & coordinate where to sit if doing dine-in. I dined in but didn't get anything fancy. I just got three bagels (everything, sesame & poppy) & a small tub of garlic & herb cream cheese. This was my first time trying a proper Montreal bagel & I gotta say they are pretty amazing. I tore a bit from each bagel & dipped it into the cream cheese. Good move. Probably the best move I made that morning. The bagels are crunchy light & creamy all at the same time. I'm from New Jersey so I'm used to bagels being chewier. These bagels are delicious & I will be back soon! Probably tomorrow!View more
Lovely little play for breakfast. Some of the best Bagels in town. Highly recommend it.View more
My first time having a Canadian bagel. It was amazing.View more
Ordered the rosemary & sea salt bagel with the steak, without onions. It was delicious, & I liked that it wasn't drowned in sauce. Service was good.View more
Prepare for a long line, but the bagel is worth it. I had the traditional with salmon, my only criticism would be too much cream cheese, which I wish I had asked to add less. Everything else was great!View more
There is a line at the door, but it moves fast. The staff are friendly & direct everyone to keep the flow moving. The bagels are fresh & flavourful, just on their own. Can add to make a sandwich based on your preference. We tried the all-dressed with cream cheese, the traditional on sesame & the rosemary & salt. A stop to try if you're in Montreal & take some to go as well !View more
Best in town! Must visit. Worth the $13 for a delicious bagel of your choice! Service is friendly but bagels are better!View more
Bagels are tasty & well served, not the best bagels i have ever had but still good quality bagels 🥯View more
During our trip to Montréal, we stopped by St-Viateur Bagel & had an amazing experience! These weren't the typical oversized bagels you find elsewhere - they were the perfect size, just right for a hearty but not overwhelming sandwich. Every bagel was incredibly fresh, soft, & packed with flavor. Each sandwich had its own personality, from the turkey & bacon to the grilled chicken with pesto, & even a veggie one with creamy cheese - all so tasty! We loved them so much that we ordered extras to take home for the kids to enjoy later. St-Viateur really lived up to its reputation - fresh, delicious, & a must-visit if you're in Montréal!View more
I ordered 2 bacon egg & cheese to go & they forgot the bacon & It was 51$ with a drink what the hell it's good bagels but the to go sandwich is not worth it it has become a tourist trap by raising there pricesView more
It's a MUST to come here every time you visit Montreal.
The downside is they don't accept credit card only Canadian debit cards. Other than that, the service & the food is P-E-R-F-E-C-T! I've never liked bagels & after today, I realize I've never had a real one until today 🥰View more
Best bagel ive ever had. Tried the salt & pepper breakfast bagel, but swapped bacon with smoked turkey & cheese.
They do not skimp out on the portions - two eggs, two slices of cheese, etc. This is a proper meal - justifying the price of almost 18$ taxes in.
Will 100% be coming back.View more
A fun place to visit.. grrreat bagels! We tried a few bagel joints while in MTL.. this was the best for sure 👍View more
I visited this store in my trip to Montreal & I am in love! The service & quality of the bagels are amazing! had to buy a whole pack to go! Thank you so much! I enjoyed!View more

Seriously good!! We had Le Steak & Club Bagel on sesame bagels & they were both delicious.View more

Ambiance conviviale, bagels faits sur place. Bon choix au menuView more
Outstanding bagels. Very friendly staff. Note to international visitors: they don't take credit & they only accept debit from Canadian banks. So, bring CDN $s. For our entire week in Montreal, this is the only place I needed cash. But, it was nice to see what Canadian currency looks like these days (pretty sophisticated & intricate, with a different feeling than'paper' money)View more
I have to admit my visit here the other day while good was slightly disappointing. I got a half dozen sea salt & rosemary bagels which are absolutely delicious (though I expected chunks of salt on the top like I have got at other premium bagel places), however if I had to wager a guess these were made the previous day. I ordered quite early in the morning & the bagels were not even warm & didn't seem very fresh. The service was good, store was cute but sceptical if those bagels were made the day before & for the price that is unacceptable if the caseView more
Nothing speaks of true Montréal Bagels like St Viateur. Portions are great with great service & amazing staff members. I also enjoy their ice coffee & regular coffee as well. It's definitely worth having it when visiting Montreal.View more
