Friendly service. Cool decor. Not really my type of music. The Flora cocktail was a little odd, not bad but I probably wouldn't get it again. My friend enjoyed her mocktail.
Tucked away downstairs, this little speakeasy feels like you've stepped into another era. Dim lighting, vintage décor, & lovely music.
The cocktails were thoughtful & inventive. You can tell the bartenders actually care about what they're making. Service was warm, knowledgeable, & never rushed.
If you're looking for a cozy, moody spot to unwind with friends or have a date night that feels secretly special, this is it. Montreal has plenty of bars, but few places with this kind of character.

Oh my gosh what a hidden gem! This is arguably the best speakeasy in Montreal. The cocktails are fantastic, but the bartenders are even better. Larry & Tommy were soo much fun & so personable that we came back the next night. Do not skip this little speakeasy (underneath the sabrosa restaurant). I would argue that this is better than coldroom. Truly one of the best bar experiences my husband & I have had in all of our travels.
Fantastic experience! Tommy & Larry are fantastic bartenders, really make you feel welcome. The menu is excellent, all the drinks I had were crafted with care. The music is upbeat but not too loud to have a chat & enjoy your time, & the lighting is appropriately dim where it sets a mood but doesn't impede practicalities like seeing or reading.
A+++++++ experience, would definitely recommend & go back.
& no, just in case anyone is wondering with all the 5-star reviews, I did not get any kickback for this. The bar really is just that good.
