Au cours de sa tournée nord-américaine, la Superstar grecque Mihalis Hatzigiannis a découvert Melina Mammas, une jeune chanteuse grecque canadienne, fille de Lawrence Mammas, et a été invitée à dîner à La Belle & La Boeuf où il a été tellement impressionné par le groupe qu’il a proposé un partenariat pour apporter une cuisine authentique grecque Souvlaki, avec un concept Foodtastic à Montréal. Voilà que Souvlaki Bar est né, ouvrant notre premier magasin le 12 septembre 2014. Plus de 5000 personnes ont assisté à la grande fête d’ouverture où Mihalis et Melina ont joué à l’extérieur devant plusieurs fans heureux. Both food for 150$ to takeout, asking for a tip at the bar for a drink i bought, while i waited for my food, was so disappointed, as it's an obligation, a place i offent pass to eat with my family
?Mixed first impressions, but an excellent experience overall. The welcome from the young girl at the door was unfortunately a disaster (no smile, cellphone in the hand & cost you one star), though the gentleman nearby was smiling & welcoming.
?Once I was seated, everything completely turned around. The lady serving me (who mentioned she was Greek) was absolutely amazing-incredibly helpful, attentive, & smiling the whole time.
?The service from that point on was top-notch & everything else about the visit was great especially my octopus dish. It's a shame about the poor greeting at arrival, but the fantastic hospitality at the table completely made up for it.

This was our third or fourth time at this place. Always someone to welcome you when you come in. Never waited to be seated. The food has always been great. I luv the calamari at this place. But at our last visit for lunch the portion was a bit smaller than usual & slightly overcooked. There was 5 of us for lunch & everyone enjoyed the food. The service has always been great. If your on a tight budget maybe not the place for you. Nevertheless I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone.
The atmosphere & service are always great. I either eat there or pick up... The souvlaki pita is a hit or a miss. Not consistent. The meat is sometimes good & the last time was awful... I requested a gyro, I got pork cubes that were old. This has happened frequently.
This place offered a very enjoyable experience from start to finish. Ordering was easy, the employees were welcoming, & the food was flavorful & fresh. The atmosphere had a great balance of comfort & energy. I'd definitely recommend it.
Unbelievable! Ate here for lunch, had grilled halibut, grilled vegetables, Greek potatoes & Greek salad. It was perfect. Dinner had Greek style chicken, Greek salad, rice, potatoes all perfect! Good use of spices. Everything served HOT by nice attentive waitresses! Just go!
I love Greek food. Or any type of Mediterranean food. The pita & the garlic sauce is so amazing. I could eat this all day. I love this place because of the people & the food. I will keep coming back every day!
I walked into this place tired & honestly pretty hungry, & the way I was welcomed made a huge difference. The staff were kind, patient, & really attentive to what I needed in that moment.
The food came out fast, everything was fresh, & you can tell they actually care about quality. It's rare to feel this comfortable & taken care of in a restaurant.
Definitely a place I'll come back to.

Absolutely delicious! The salad dressing was some of the best dressing I've ever had. The pork was tender.the rice I would say was the lowest point of the meal as it was a bit oily/mushy. I still ate it all haha! Service for take out was impeccable - the waitress was so patient with us as we were trying to figure out what to order. Worth the stop for sure. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

This is always a fun restaurant for Greek food presented in an updated modern way. Quality is good, service is excellent, lots of drinks & menu options to choose from, & a big space, perfect for larger groups
