Sora 45 is a special place.
The talented people who run it bring to life an intimate, welcoming atmosphere with exceptional service. It was easy to be enthralled by their infectious enthusiasm for their craft, especially since everyone was so generous in sharing their perspectives & recommendations during our time there.
The drinks themselves were incredible - beautifully presented & delicious - several of my new favorite cocktails came from behind the bar. The Honeydew & their version of the New York Sour were among the standouts.
Visiting Sora, you'll undoubtedly leave with a greater appreciation for excellent cocktails & what the best of Montreal has to offer.
I can't wait to come back!Voir plus
An absolute gem & a must-visit in Montreal!
Sora 45 was recommended to us by a bartender from one of North America's top cocktail bars-her personal favorite spot in the city. That alone speaks volumes about just how special this place is.
From the moment you walk in, you're met with an incredible team that's as welcoming as they are passionate. The drinks? Somehow even better.
If you're looking for an unforgettable cocktail experience in Montreal, Sora 45 is it. Calling it now that this will be in the top 50 cocktail bars in North America before you know it.Voir plus
I would really say come here only for the vibes & drinks. Although the food they serve are very good, they won't fill you up, so this is definitely more of a bar & finger food type of place. Kinda forgot to take a picture of the ribs we got because it took us a drink & a half for us to get them. It wasn't as expected, it was mostly bone with some meat. Overall, really nice place. Just don't come expecting the food to fill you up with the drinksVoir plus
Amazing views, but it soooo crowded so beware & u need 2 elevators to get there. The prices are super normal for a cafe, the london fog was really good!Voir plus

Attentive service, not much of a food menu though. Enjoyed the rolls, though the brioche was a bit too bready. Enjoyed my Honeydew & Bonsai Punch. Great view of the city.Voir plus
Group of 4 out for dinner. The good: - Drinks were well made - Food in general was tasty - Fish is very fresh - Calm environment with nice city views - Waiter was attentive The bad: - Layout is a bit awkward - Our table was next to the bathrooms. There was a lineup at one point & we had ppl standing right next to our table while the rest of the restaurant was virtually empty. - Speaking of the bathroom, it was filthy. - Maki rolls were not well made. Kept falling apart when picking them up. - Wasabi was a $5 extra per order. This is insane. They're serving sashimi & you have to pay for the wasabi?! It wasn't even a generous portion either, maybe half a teaspoon. It's crazy to charge for this most basic thing for sashimi. - Ponzu sauce for the sushi? Seriously? Even then we had to ask for more because they only brought one small dish with maybe one teaspoon of it for all four of us. - They need to talk to their wait staff about wearing cologne/perfume. Waiter wore way too much & you could virtually taste it in the air when he was around. - Menu is very short & limited. We ordered maybe 70% of the menu. Would we come back? More than likely not. Just the fact that they are charging for the wasabi on a sashimi platter shows they have no understanding of Japanese cuisine & the role wasabi plays in it. They need to re-evaluate a few things.Voir plus
We had the the best experience! We work in the building & have tried all the 5-7, but this is by far the best one. One of best espresso martinis in the city! & on top of all of this, out waitress Alia, such a cool chick! Amazing service & drinks. Will be back for sure!Voir plus
I love this place! Alaia is an amazing waitress & we come back just for her !!Voir plus
On a bien mangé, on était quand même rassasiés.
Awesome restaurant. Ordered Nigiris (1 salmon, 1 tuna) & Makis (spicy salmon) + drinks- all delicious. Keep in mind: This isn't Hidden Fish (IYKYK).You go to Sora 45 for the drinks/view/vibe/location. Also, get real: you're paying for PVM rent but where else can you enjoy a beautiful sunset while having good drinks+sushis with THE best view of downtown MTL? So put on a nice suit/dress & enjoy your time with some friends. Overall: good & welcoming service.Voir plus
Wonderful drinks! They make a Canadian version of Caipirinha (a typical Brazilian drink) & as a Brazilian I can say that it is delicious, although different from the original 😂 Incredible, impeccable service. Nice, calm atmosphere, pleasant music... I will definitely be back again...Voir plus
