Server was extremely friendly & helpful! Would absolutely return.
Decent place to order food from relative to price & service. Beef tends to be on the sweet side in terms of taste.
Ive been coming here for the past 18 months atleast once a month. The food is authentic & never disappoints, the fried chicken is the most flavourful ive ever had. Jaeyook is sweet & hot as it reminds me of my many visits to Korea. The service is timely & friendly especially the waiter Joseph.
If I could give 10 stars, I would.
Cheers
I got takeout. I ordered a half half friend chicken. We really liked the sweet garlic sauce. Chickens crispy & flavourful. The service is great. The staff are nice! I'll definitely be back!
Nice waiter, food is nice, highly recommend their iced coffee(its not sweet but it has a nice flavour). We were a group of around 10, at the end of the meal waiter gave us some Yakult(mini yogurt drink). Prices are okay, but Portions are very nice, for the fried chicken , I recommend sharing it, because its really a lot. I had a beef soup, it was very warm & flavourful.
Our personal favorite: original & soy sweet fried chicken- cooked to perfection, odorless, tasty, crunchy! Their servings were also huge. We enjoyed their beef fried rice & japchae. We also ordered their takoyaki & fried shrimps. These were winners to the kids. I am not sure if they serve unlimited banchan, but the kind server gave us two more servings of their kimchi & seaweed salad since we really liked them. Place is big & there are tables to accommodate a party of six or ten. Toilet is also fragrant & clean. Would definitely go back to try other food on their menu & will be bringing friends along. :):)
This Korean restaurant is fancier than others I've been to. It's decorated nicely with fancy designs on the ceiling & has cozy lighting. It's really clean, & the staff are super friendly & attentive. We tried the Gamjatang (Pork Bone Soup) since it was cold & rainy then we asked the waiter for a recommendation & he suggested the Crispy Fried Chicken with Onion Mayo. We also tried the Tteokbokki on skewers. The food was delicious. The chicken was crunchy, & the Onion Mayo on top was perfect. The Tteokbokki skewers were chewy & had a nice mix of spice & sweetness. The Gamjatang was good, but I've had better in Koreatown in Toronto. As with the side dishes, they only have two, I wish they added more. Banchan is my personal highlight whenever I go to a Korean Restaurant for a meal. Fair price point is a yes for me. For those seeking to dine al fresco, they added outdoor seating which is a lovely option if dining for supper. Pro tip: Avoid the parking hustle. It was really tough finding a parking spot.
i've been there a couple times & was always satisfied but i just ordered delivery from them tonight & i'm very disappointed. the kimchi jjigae is very oily, overly sweet, & only had like 5 tiny pieces of tofu. i was expecting the takoyaki to come from frozen & it did, which is fine, but charging 9$ for 5 minuscule balls is nonsense (plus they weren't very good).
