I loved the Pad See Ew! Delish. Wasn't a fan of the Thai green tea tho, seemed like they dropped a whole bottle of vanilla extract into it.
We ordered a selection of dishes with the view of tasting for dinner & then taking the leftovers home.
The dumplings with peanut sauce & the chicken meatballs were both amazing to start our dinner.
The chicken Tom Yum & chicken Massaman Curry were outstanding & delicious.
For mains we ordered the Spicy Crispy Chicken with mango salad & the Beef Pad See Ew.
The portions were quite large which makes this restaurant extremely good value for delicious Thai food.
Highly recommend this restaurant!
Hugely disappointed by my second visit. I'm Thai, so I have high standards for Larb Moo, & this wasn't it. It was basically unseasoned minced pork. I had to fix it myself just to make it edible. While the Pad Thai noodles were good, the shrimp were bland & tasted like they were cooked separately & just tossed on top. The sticky rice portion was also a joke. I loved my first visit, but I'm not paying restaurant prices to do the chef's job at home.
Updated review : the tom kha gai was really not to my taste at all, felt like the flavors were really off to me as if they didn't balance the aromatics properly. The pad thai had a quantity over quality feel. It was honestly still decent & probably a good quality & quantity / price ratio... The service was nice & quick. Not the place for me since quality matters above all to me, but decent restaurant if you are less picky!
Tasted just like Thailand! (We had the pad kra pao, Thai milk tea & mango sticky rice)
Amazing Thai food !! The pad thai, pad see ew & Tom kha were all so delicious. Highly recommend
Good thai food at a reasonable price. The pad kra prao & the papaya salad are very good.
This is such a hidden gem for authentic thai food in a budget! Tried the massaman curry with beef & chicken pad thai. The massaman was sweet with rich flavors of various seasonings, while the pad thai was flavorful & smokey! Truly enjoyed this meal here. Also the people are so sweet, I will definitely be back again just to see them again. Can't wait to try the other dishes soon as well.
Siwalee is the best Thai spot you could possibly find in the town! I absolutely love the pad see ew beef & green curry! You should all give it a try!!!!
I tried the Thai Green Curry (veg), Veg Momos, & Pad Thai. The Thai Green Curry was absolutely delicious - rich, flavorful, & perfectly balanced. The portion size was just right too.
The Pad Thai & Momos were a little on the sweeter side. I actually enjoyed the mild sweetness in the Pad Thai, but I felt the Momos could've been better without it. That said, they were still tasty & well made.
Overall, it's a nice place with delicious food & good portions. I left very satisfied & would definitely come back again!
Je me suis regalé avce mon pad thai Poulet !
Merci 😋
This is the best Pad Thai in town! After trying several restaurants in the MTL area, Siwalee finally delivered a true Pad Thai with its signature tamarind flavor. I mostly order through Uber Eats, but recently I visited the restaurant & was pleased to experience warm, friendly service. Don't forget to try the Crispy Pork Wontons - they're a must! This restaurant is truly a jewel in the MTL culinary scene.
was the best thai food Ive ever had. pad thai was delicious, very umami & not too sweet like some other places. pad see ew was amazing, very black peppery. green curry was perfect. staff was very nice. cant recommend enough
Amazing Thai food. The flavours are incredible. We had the tofu pad thai, papaya salad, larb salad, mango sticky rice & the pandas custard. All delicious.
What a fantastic Thai restaurant! We had the Pad See Ew & the Massaman curry-both were absolutely delicious & tasted super authentic. The Massaman- best I've ever had. We've been to Thailand many times & this place seriously brings back those flavors. Portions are generous & prices are reasonable. We were served by the owner, which made it feel extra personal. This family run place & a real gem. We will definitely be back.
I saw this restaurant when I was passing by one day. I brought a couple of friends with me to try it out. Everything was delicious : spring rolls, fried wontons, soup & green curry with blue sticky rice. Perfect. I went back alone to try the Pad Thai. One of the best I've ever had in Montreal. The owners & their daughter are very sociable & kind. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Bravo !
Delicious, authentic Thai food. Chatted with the staff & they even taught us how their Pad Thai rice noodles were prepped
