very authentic thai restaurant, the owner is so sweet & explained to us every dish & is very passionate about her culture. this is a family owned restaurant so you know the food is authentic. we ordered a couple of entrees & a massaman curry & a pad see ew which were phenomenal. i def recommend this spot if you want to be full & bring leftovers (quantity is amazing) the waitress is super attentive & kind!
Nous avons passé un excellent moment chez Siwalee, le service était super chaleureux, la nourriture incroyable (les nouilles sont d'une grande finesse). On s'est régalé & on a retrouvé de l'authenticité dans nos assiettes.
Une expérience que je recommande grandement, nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

J'adore l'intérieur du restaurant, ça me fait sentir comme si j'étais en Thaïlande. Prends ça de moi, je suis allé en Thaïlande plusieurs fois deja, & les plats que nous avons pris étaient délicieux & rempli de saveurs. Je vous dites que, Siwalee m'a pas déçu avec leur authenticité & leur passion envers les clients.
This is such a hidden gem for authentic thai food in a budget! Tried the massaman curry with beef & chicken pad thai. The massaman was sweet with rich flavors of various seasonings, while the pad thai was flavorful & smokey! Truly enjoyed this meal here. Also the people are so sweet, I will definitely be back again just to see them again. Can't wait to try the other dishes soon as well.
One of the best hidden gems in Montréal! Come visit if you want to try authentic Thai food. The owner is super nice & welcoming! My personal favourite is their tom kha soup😌
I was walking around in the rain & stumbled across this hidden gem. I've been to Thailand multiple times, & you can tell by the decoration, music, & the food itself that this place is definitely authentic. I ended up asking & I was right, it was a small family restaurant owned by a sweet Thai lady. A lot of the staff are also Thai.

We tried this Thai restaurant recently but found the flavors to be underwhelming. The dishes didn't quite bring out the bold, accentuating Thai flavors we were hoping for. The gyoza in particular were disappointing, tasting very similar to the frozen ones I usually get from the grocery store. Overall, the experience left us wanting more authenticity & depth in the cooking.
What a fantastic Thai restaurant! We had the Pad See Ew & the Massaman curry-both were absolutely delicious & tasted super authentic. The Massaman- best I've ever had. We've been to Thailand many times & this place seriously brings back those flavors. Portions are generous & prices are reasonable. We were served by the owner, which made it feel extra personal. This family run place & a real gem. We will definitely be back.
We ordered the following:
- Thai Iced Thai + Thai Milk Tea
- Som Tam (Papaya Salad)
- Pad See Ew (Beef)
- Kaeng Khiao Wan (Green Curry - Chicken)
- Khao niao mamuang (Mango Sticky Rice)
Everything was excellent. Literally everything. The Som Tam despite being spicy was not overpowered. You could taste the complexity of the sweet & sour from the ingredients. The Pad See Ew was a very generous portion garnished with fresh chinese brocoli & just the perfect mixture of pad see ew sauce & caramelization on the noodles. The green curry was very tasty & the texture of the curry itself was perfect! The marinated protein (chicken in our case) was tender & juicy! The meal ended with a classic Thai dessert, a phenomenal mango & sticky rice.
Overall, we greatly enjoyed our food.
The service was top notch. Family owned restaurant with attentive staff, this restaurant should be on your radar if you enjoy Thai food or if you have the craving for an authentic Thai experience.
My wife is Thai, & I have lived in Thailand myself & we highly recommend this restaurant. We'll come back again for sure!
Authentic Thai flavours & warm friendly service. We were served by the owner & her daughter & we shared stories, laughs & the hospitality was nothing short of esquisite.
We ordered the Mango Salad, Pad Kraw Pao & the Massaman Curry. All were delicious, full of flavour & plenty of meat! The Mango Sticky rice dessert was sweet but not too sweet 🥭Price was also exceptional for the quality.
Had a very wholesome experience! We came with a group of 8 as part of our bachelor party. The owner greeted us & immediately we felt at home. It felt like we had a family meal. The restaurant is thai family run & the food was authentic. I ordered the fried chicken cutlet, fried dumplings & papaya salad. Great price & extremely delicious. Will definitely come back!
