Great spot! The food was delicious, & if you're lucky you might catch the Thai dancers moving through the restaurant, which adds a really nice touch to the whole experience.

The coconut shrimp was honestly the best entree for me, absolutely a must-order. I also really appreciated that there are vegetarian, pescetarian, & meat options, so everyone at the table can find something they enjoy.

We loved the mocktails too, & the desserts were great. If you prefer something not too sweet, go for the mango sticky rice. If you have a sweet tooth, the fondant is perfect.

Also shoutout to our server, who was such a sweetheart & made the experience even better. Would definitely come back!

If you are in downtown Montreal, you have to try SIAM!
My server, Umair, was amazing & helped me select the perfect food & wine pairings. I started with the coconut shrimp & duck wontons, followed by an incredible chicken Pad Thai & a great glass of rosé. I made sure to save room for dessert-the Lava cake topped with light coconut sorbet & toasted coconut flakes is a must-try. A wonderful solo culinary experience from start to finish. Come hungry!

I had a really frustrating experience at SIAM Thai last week, & with every frustration, a star was lost. So how did they end up with 5-stars? It's because of Hassan the manager.

I placed an order for pickup that was supposed to be ready in 20 minutes. I arrived at the restaurant & told them my name...& then I waited. & waited, & waited. They were VERY busy so I gave them a bit of grace, but 45 minutes in, I was quite frustrated. I got Hassan's attention & told him I'd been waiting for a very long time & could he please figure out what was going on.

Long story short, the online order had not printed in the kitchen printer & so the order was never received. No ones fault, but by this time, I was very frustrated. It was clear that Hassan was dealing with quite a few problems that evening, & it would have been easy, & quite frankly, understandable if he too was frustrated. But, he met my frustration with patience, kindness, accountability, & most importantly solutions. He told the kitchen to stop everything else they were doing & to focus on my order...which was literally done in 10 minutes. He also gave me a $20 gift card for a sister restaurant I'm looking forward to trying.

The food was great, & despite the challenges, the service Hassan provided turned a frustrating experience into a less frustrating one because of his patience.

Well done to Hassan & the kitchen crew for turning what could have been a 2-star review into a 5-star review!

Delicious & authentic Thai food. They were very busy & luckily we were seated without reservations. The Kauo soi was spicy & flavorful. We started with fresh spring tolls which were very tasty too. The filet mignon Drunken noodles were also very delicious.

Been waiting to try this place for a long time. Went for a bachelorette, beautiful restaurant with a large selection. I ordered the shrimp pad thai, after getting my meal & taking the first bite I realized they brought me the wrong one. I informed the waitress, she proceeded to ask me'do you really want shrimp'.. didn't offer to compensate me, didn't offer to bring me a new one, nothing. I asked if I can at least get the shrimp on the side. She brought me 4 boiled shrimp, dripping in water. All to say very disappointed with my experience. The waitress & her lack of people skills definitely affected my experience, she had a serious attitude, which is unacceptable for dealing with the public.judging from the comments, nothing will be done about this. No compensation for poor service or experience is ever offered, overall just disappointed in my experience & hope that management understands that telling people they will'make sure the team is aware of this & it won't happen again' isn't good enough for a restaurant like theirs..

An amazing night. Our first time there.

I dropped my wife at the door & went to look for parking. When I got to restaurants we were seated at a table next to a couple with a small child. I asked the hostess to switch our spot on this busy saturday & the manager Hassan came & moved us to a great table upstairs. Our server Omar was kind, attentive & made great suggestions - we had amazing food. It was our first time there & we were very very happy. The food is served beautifully, the flavors are amazing. One of the best Thai restaurants we've been to in Montreal. Creme brule with a Thai touch was a beautiful finishing touch for me.

Definitely recommend it. Beautiful spot for a date night & you can avoid the disaster of construction on saint Catherine.

The food was amazing! To start: the chicken dumplings & entree was chicken pad Thai. For drinks I got a cosmosiam (their version of a cosmopolitan). It was very strong & a bit heavy on the cranberry! But I ended up enjoying it with my meal. Wouldn't have been able to finish it without food :) the atmosphere was great on the terrace especially for a Thursday evening. You couldn't hear the people directly next to you which was nice & the servers were very polite. It was a bit slow to fill up our waters & to bring out the entrees. But the food was so good that it felt worth it by the end.

Ask for Heidi. Trust me. We not only had delicious Thai food & incredible drinks, but we had amazing service from our waitress Heidi! Her warm energy, attention to detail, & care for her customers was truly a magical experience. Thank you Heidi for an incredible night & a very much memorable one!! ❤?
