Shô-Dan is the product of the friendship of three young chefs, passionate about cuisine and art. Loaded with talent, they use the artistic baggage and years of experience in the kitchen to make your outing at one of their restaurants an unforgettable event.
The à la carte menu at Shô-Dan is very elaborate, creative and ideal for those who want to take a chance. Among the specialties are the succulent blueberry sushi, Blue Shadow and the sushi pizza, served on a bed of rice with spicy mayonnaise and smoked salmon. Many different creations are offered, and change every week. The plates are presented in the traditional Japanese aesthetic and reflect the artistic talent of the chefs. A warm service is offered by a young and dynamic team that is always smiling.
To distinguish itself from other sushi restaurants, Shô-Dan accepts special orders. The chefs will try to satisfy your every wish. It is also possible and quite gratifying, to add a perfectly matched wine to your sushi selection. Both establishments are spacious and can welcome over 150 people. The large sushi bar surrounds the chefs and allows you to see them at work. During your visit, you will immerse yourself into the authentic culinary spirit of Japan.

We trusted the server to choose for us-& we definitely did not regret that decision. It made the experience even better.
Keep in mind that you get what you pay for. The prices are on the higher end, but they're in line with other high-quality sushi restaurants & absolutely worth it.

Très bonne ambiance avec un pianiste, cuisine ouverte. Le'lay-out' du restaurant est excellent.

Les sushis sont à couper le souffle,mais le service était plutôt médiocre. Ma soeur avait un insecte dans son verre de vin & on ne lui a même pas offert aucun verre de vin gratuit ni rien d'autre en compensation !!! Ce restaurant est considéré prestigieux! Ceci ne devrait pas arriver. C'est Malheureusement la dernière fois que je vais y aller.
Swanky sushi place with upscale ambiance & attentive wait staff. The two specialty rolls we had (Adam & Black Dragon) were exceptional & creative. However, the edamame was overcooked & the non-specialty rolls were bland tasting, though beautiful looking. Stick to the specialty rolls & you'll have an exceptional meal!

We recently had a positive experience at Sho Dan Sushi in Montreal. After a day of Browse the fantastic boutiques & shops nearby, it was the perfect place to unwind & grab a bite. The sushi was fresh, with a beautiful, clean flavor, & the staff were very friendly, which made the whole experience even better. It's a great spot for anyone looking for delicious, high-quality sushi & excellent service, especially when you're in the mood for a shopping break.
My wife & I had the fortunate accident of walking by on the restaurant right before opening & asked for a table. They accommodated us & had high chairs available for small children.
We had the Sho Dan special
, Sushi pizza & twister roll. Wish we had more time to try the rest. Everything was delicious

Le Sho-Dan est devenu notre incontournable pour célébrer les anniversaires de nos filles depuis qu'elles ont 8 & 10 ans. Vendredi dernier, nous y avons fêté les 15 ans de notre aînée, & comme toujours, l'expérience a été tout simplement magique.
Nous avons choisi de nous laisser tenter uniquement par les sushis spécialités, & chaque bouchée était un ravissement pour les papilles. Mention spéciale au sushi Cancún, le favori du propriétaire Roméo, qui nous a totalement conquis avec ses saveurs uniques & parfaitement équilibrées.
Mais au-delà de la qualité exceptionnelle des plats, c'est l'attention & la gentillesse du personnel qui rendent chaque visite si mémorable. Tout au long de la soirée, nous avons été choyés par un service impeccable & chaleureux, qui a ajouté une touche encore plus spéciale à cette célébration.
Merci au Sho-Dan & à toute l'équipe pour cette soirée inoubliable qui restera gravée dans nos souvenirs.
Delightful sushi, amazingly fresh fish, original flavours & textures- definitely some of the best sushi in the city. Yes the price is steep, but it is reflected in the quality & quantity of the fish, beautiful presentation, & great service.
Meilleur endroit pour des sushis hors du communs! Une place unique où on se sent comme chez soi. Pour nous c'est un endroit qu'on ne peux se passer, l'essayer, c'est l'adopter à coup sûr!!!
First time in shodan for lunch. We have ordered the sushi plate for 2 & added a sushi pizza. I believe if we will be just full only have sushi plate for 2.adding pizza we r too full. The fish are so fresh! However I find the rice is abit too soft & doesn't taste enough vinegar. Thus 4/5 for the food. Service is good, atmosphere is good. Will come back & try the dinner menue, heard the specialty rolls are good too. Sushi pizza is covered by smoked salmon. Find the rice is not crispy enough or maybe too thin to taste the crispness.
