The story of SHNOOPI begins with our family, steeped in the culinary heritage of the Mediterranean countries. We grew up in Egypt, travelling a lot around other countries with whom we share the crystal blue water filled Sea, such as Italy, Greece, Lebanon, France, etc. As long as we can remember, our cuisine has always been inspired by a lot of these countries’ flavors, mixing ingredients in untraditional ways, yet representing all cultures in a harmonious way. When creating SHNOOPI, we wanted to represent and honor that heritage, as well as share the food we grew up eating with our clients.
In fact, the name SHNOOPI stands for our family’s nickname. So don’t be surprised if you here us calling each other SHNOOPI in the kitchen!

A very nice restaurant in the heart of old montreal. We spent the day today on the terrace with the family we had some drinks then we ate. We took a collection of sandwiches & they were just delicious. Service was exceptional they really do care about every single detail. I do recommend it to everyone!
Un resto où je viens souvent que je vais recommander dans le quartier à tous les 250 habitants de mon immeuble. Une place VRAIMENT, Mais VRAIMENT exceptionnelle à Montréal. Nourriture très fraiche & excellente, service hors paire courtois, aimable & souriant. L essayer c est y revenir souvent & l adopter. Vraiment trop peu de bons restaurants de ce type à Montréal. Une bonne idée de franchise pour l avenir peut être ?

Was recommended to try Shnoopi from a friend while travelling through Montreal & I'm thrilled. The best food decision I made in Montreal & the best sandwiches I've ever had, the flavours were so creative & complimentary!! We will gladly come back when we revisit Montreal, hands down delicious!!!!
J'ai juste découvert ce restaurant, & j'y retourne souvent. La nourriture est top, le chef cuisine les produits frais, c'est vraiment délicieux j'ai beaucoup aimé leur sandwich poulet pesto. En plus de la cuisine, c'est l'accueil du personnel, ils sont toujours souriants & attentionnés. Cela rend l'expérience encore meilleure. Bref c'est un restaurant que je recommande trop.
This is a long review, but it's worth the read. It's honestly local, family-owned places like this that made me fall in love with the city of Montreal. This place is literally amazing. This is why Quebec culture needs to be protected, & we should hope for small businesses like this to thrive. First of all, the sandwiches are of amazing quality. You will find a great selection of tuna, meat, veggie, salads, etc. The tuna with corn is personally my favorite. Second, the service is just unbelievable. Even though it is a quick-bite sandwich shop, the owner is also involved in many high-end venues, which I also love, & he brings that level of service here. I decided to eat on the patio when I got my sandwiches to go, & the staff came over & offered me free drinks on the house, even though they were so busy handling the line. Third, in today's inflationary environment, this place charges very reasonable prices. You will find sandwiches for $15, & they will fill you up. Overall, I highly recommend this place, & we should all support local businesses like this that sell good quality food.
Schnoopi was a great person & caring owner. Polite & friendly, service was great, food (Penne Pasta w/meatballs), oh so good. Recommend? Of course. Sorry Schnoopi, I forgot to get a snapshot of the nice pasta dish. Stop by Schoopi's, it's worth it.
I tried few restaurants in Montreal, this one was the best, very good food, very nice atmosphere & excellent service, I highly recommend the chicken tahini sandwich & the chicken artichoke salad

My daughter & I travelled to Montreal for a concert. On our first day in Montreal we took a walk to explore the city & we came across Shnoopi. We were drawn in off the street with the welcoming curb appeal of the restaurant. We had sandwiches & the oven pasta. The service was impeccable & the food was whole heartily delicious. We were so happy to support local & we had full belly's! I would recommend 10/10!
Super beau restaurant avec de la nourriture exceptionnelle! Le staff est encore plus exceptionnel & friendly puisqu'ils nous ont offert une meilleure table qu'on avait pour qu'on puisse d'étendre afin d'étudier. Je vous recommande définivement de venir y faire un tour!

I tried the signature Shnoopi seafood sandwich & every bite was a culinary delight. The service was impeccable with the owner very attentive, kind & passionate about ensuring a wonderful dining experience for every guest. Tellement contente d'être tombée sur un restaurant où la nourriture est délicieuse, ou l'endroit est très propre & où le personnel est très accueillant. Je le recommande fortement pour un lunch santé & goûteux. On y reviendra sûrement !
