We had the best brunch at Shay with a large group for a Bachelorette! Top brunch spot in the city, It's such a hidden gem. The service was 10/10. Kat was the best, everything was perfect. The food was so so good, & the coffees were also delicious. Vibes are wonderful, great pictures. Highly recommend for a group or Bachelorette outing! Chicken & waffles were a favourite in our group, so was the falafel latke. Must have brunch in Montreal!
Honestly I went because of the 4.6 rating & I felt so disappointed - the food is average, the atmosphere is so so - not feeling the friendly Sunday brunch vibe I was looking for. Overpriced restaurant I do not recommend for a relax, casual brunch.
I don't even know where to start. Absolutely outstanding experience. Everything from the food to drinks to vibe & furthermore the staff. Special thank you to manager Aboudi, server Kat , bartenders Max & Robin. Every interactions, sip or bite I had brought me into the extraordinary Lebanese culinary experience at Shay Griffintown.
W🔥W! Vraiment le brunch était superbe! Le restaurant est plein donc faire une réservation est la meilleur chose à faire. #1- les plats sont vraiment bons, pas trop gros mais remplissant. L'assaisonnement est à point & pas trop salé. #2- Les boissons sont très bonnes mais légèrement dispendieux. Le bar est chaleureux & dynamique. #3- Le service est sympa, le staff souriant & dynamique. Mais lorsque le restaurant est plein tu peux voir le petit débordement J'ai hâte que la terrasse puisse s'ouvrir & enjoy le vibe de la place.
The food was pretty delicious, & the place had a nice vibe! I just didn't love the service, because it was very much lacking. Our waitress just didn't seem like a kind person, & she even spilled a few things on some of us at the table - never apologized for the inconvenience of that... kind of bizarre behaviour. I'd go back for the food but definitely hope to be served by someone happy to be there as part of the staff.
Amazing vegan options. Jose & mina went above & beyond to make sure I felt welcome & they accommodated my food allergies. The food is amazing, the vibes are wonderful. I'll be back

Amazing amazing service! The owner was super nice & accommodating. The food & drinks were amazing. Vibes were amazing for brunch. Must visit when coming to Montreal!!! Highly recommend it!
A lot of of friends told us to go to Shay & I have to say they were right. It didn't disappoint.
The restaurant is beautiful. It's small & cozy but there was a great ambiance & vibe
The staff was so knowledgeable. They guided us though the menu & even offered suggestion. They were friendly & checked up on all throughout the night.
What can I say about the food...it was fresh & delicious. I enjoyed every dish we ordered.
My husband & I had a wonderful evening- celebrating our wedding anniversary- & we can't wait to return with friend

Had high expectations going in, & the food was good but nothing outstanding, I think this is a great vibes spot.
Mouhammara dip was good, nice & flavourful & spicy, but the pita bread tasted plain, cold & store-bought.
Brussels were solid, good combo of pomegranate & almonds.
Lamb kebab was overly salty & not all that spiced or unique in flavour, good with the potatoes. The accompanying tomatoes & onions were pretty depressing.
