Been in love with this place for the last 4 years. Their brunch is amazing & their dinner is even better. They changed the brunch card over the years & made desserts smaller. Since no one was ever able to finish them. But the quality is still there & that's all that matters.
Went to Shay with me & my boyfriend for brunch & had a really good time. The food was amazing so was the general ambiance. We aren't from Montreal & our waitress Gaby was super helpful the entire time & even gave us a list of things to do in the city while we're here !

Went here for brunch & loved the food & flavours. I didn't have to add salt, which is saying something. I didn't love the chicken waffles & my signature drink but everything else was amazing. It's also a great place to people watch as all the hip & stylish are here.

Mauvaise gestion des réservations, la table n'était pas prête lorsque nous sommes arrivés, longue attente.
Nous étions une table de 11 pour un anniversaire donc nous avons pris le brunch à 45$.
Le 1er plat était bon mais la suite a été catastrophique (gaufres au poulet, oeufs Bénédicte & pancakes). La gaufre avait le goût de poisson, l'agneau avec les oeufs dégueulasse & les pancakes très secs.
Bref, je n'y remettrai pas les pieds.
I was expecting more. The terrace wasn't as nice as the main floor, although the service was good. For a brunch, you'd typically expect at least a few fruits on the plate-but that wasn't the case. I was surprised to be served such an empty-looking dish. Unfortunately, I didn't really enjoy the taste, even though I'm usually a big fan of shawarma & Lebanese food. Overall, I found the quality & the price didn't match. I don't think I would give it another try.
First time going to Shay for dinner & would like to go back for brunch.
Our waitress was super friendly & nice, overall restaurant was very nice & food was great!
Delicioso!!!!! Went for brunch & will definitely come back. Everything is so fresh & the staff is so nice! We love a breakfast place that accepts reservations!! Also try the Iced matcha

Excellent service premièrement, nourriture incroyable, apprêtée avec minutie & professionnalisme. Enfin, un brunch qui se démarque à Montréal ! Les saveurs, les épices, tout était au rendez vous. Nous avons adoré & nous reviendrons. Pour les frileux du stationnement ; venez tôt, il y a de la place sur la rue ou un stationnement public (20$), tout près.
My favourite Brunch in town. Such a good vibe, food is always great, generous & so tasty. Management is impeccable, the staff is friendly & welcoming. 10/10

The music is a bit loud in my opinion because we were a group of friends trying to talk to each other on top of the others around us & the music. But the meals were great nonetheless. Definitely a great place for brunch in Montreal!
We were greeted with friendly smiles. We had a delicious brunch. The food presentation was great & we shared both meals. We had the Schwarma Benedict & the Falafel latkas with gravelox. I had a delicious matcha latte & my friend had a Spanish coffee😋👌.
J'ai essayer leur nouveau croissant à l'avocat & je suis sans mot tellement il est bon bien sûr je ne pouvais pas partir sans manger les incroyables baklava pancake. Ceci n'était pas la première fois que je venais au Shay & c'est loin d'être la dernière. Vraiment le meilleure brunch spot in Montréal.
Nous sommes venu bruncher hier, malgré le délais de la nourriture (qui était toutefois excellente), Sabrina a su rendre notre expérience agréable par son service exceptionnel. Chapeau à elle! Nous y reviendrons assurément.

Believe all the good things you've heard about Shay. They're all true. I went for brunch with two girlfriends...we LOVE good food. I'm vegetarian & was thrilled to see how many meat-free options were not just available but so incredibly satisfying. We shared the hummus (so silky smooth!), muhammara, the mushroom benny (my fave), falafel waffle & the nutella french toast. Everything from the food to the service to the ambiance was 10/10. Will be visiting again for sure! What a gem.
SHAY has become one of my favourite go-to spots whenever I'm in Montreal. The menu offers plenty of diverse options, & every single dish I've tried has been exceptionally tasty. I highly recommend the Shawarma Hummus & the Fattoush salad - both are must-tries. Their brunch menu is also fantastic, offering great variety & flavour. On top of the amazing food, the staff are always extremely professional & welcoming, making every visit a pleasure.

Highly recommended - every dish was packed with flavor. We were a group of six & enjoyed a shared-style meal, which let us try a bit of everything. The lamb chops were the standout for me - perfectly cooked & incredibly tasty. The service was warm, friendly, & impressively fast. A wonderful experience from start to finish!
Went for the first time today for the brunch menu. Highlights were chicken waffle & baklava pancakes !! What we did not like was the fact that they started their tips option at 18% it says alot about the mentality. Even though you have the option on the machine to modify but i mean why not start at the usual 15% ? Specially with the prices being on the higher side compared to other place. Overall i do reccomend :)
