Wonderful service & food! Staff is lovely & friendly. Thank you Robin for your recommendations :) We loved the hummus shawarma, zaatar cauliflower, kibbeh nayeh, & baklava tiramisu.

Brunch menu. Let's start with the desserts. The baklava pancakes are unique & definitely worth trying-something different & enjoyable. The Nutella french toast isn't anything new, but if you love chocolate, it's a good choice. The labneh parfait is just yogurt with fruit & a small piece of baklava. In my opinion, it's not worth trying since it's quite common. Now for the savory dishes. The shawarma eggs benedict & chicken waffles are must-tries. The sweet & salty mix is perfect, & the flavors work really well together. The shakshuka had too much tomato & not enough eggplant, so the balance felt off. The avocado toast was a bit salty because of the halloumi but still okay. The soujouk omelet & sabich were tasty & satisfying. The service was great.
So I went with a friend for brunch my first time at Shay on Sunday at noon. The place is very modern, clean & chic without being pretentious about. Staff & vibe were very chill & music was good too so ambience was great . We sat at the bar as all the tables were full but it's very comfortable regardless. Ordered the lamb Reuben & their baklava pancakes which they are kind of known for & it's well merited. More a dessert than a meal but still excellent as was the lamb sandwich which came with roasted potatoes & Cole slaw sides. Bonus in summer they have a terrace but it was too cold when I went.
Delicious brunch & ideal for sharing! A great blend of traditional flavors & popular dishes, like the baklava pancake. Also recommend the mushroom benedict !

I heard so many good things about Shay & it really lived up to the hype. Our serve Dom was great - super super friendly & helpful when we couldn't decide what to eat because everything sounded amazing. We popped in on a Saturday for a much needed hangover brunch & we lucky enough to be sat immediately without a reservation. It was pretty busy though. This was the perfect mix of savory carbs & sweet treats. We had the sausage hash & lamb eggs Benedict first & then moved to the baklava pancakes to finish. Definitely recommend sharing these because they are super decadent.
Food was a nice modern take on Lebanese cuisine. Inventive & tastes really good. The Shawerma Benedict & Baklava Pancakes were very well done. However, the matcha latte was pretty weak, too milk heavy despite the price tag. Our server, Dom, was really friendly & attentive.
Loved this new place. Not only they have good Taouk Sandwiches with sumak Fries but also great desserts in the donut & Pistachio Canoli. Will definitely come try it again when restaurants open, the decor looked awesome Since went twice for brunch & dinner. Brunch is nice with some good stuffs to try a mix of Mediterranean touch with local food. Tried the shakshooka & pancake baklava. Went for dinner lately & tried a mix of appetizers: The coliflower zaatar is the best Tuna tartare is great with fattoush style bread crumbles gives is a nice touch The basturma with Melon & labneh has a nice touch. Shish barak with a nice yogurt sauce is a must The batata harra & grilled asparagus are a nice addition to the main meals of Lamb, shish taouk & Fish we tried.
The food was delicious, the atmosphere beautiful & the service was excellent. We had the pleasure of being severed by Damien who was super nice & extremely helpful. We had a few special requests such as a nut allergy & Damien went above & beyond to accommodate us & make us feel comfortable. I had the filet mignon which was some of the most tender I've ever had & the baklava cheesecake is a must! Will definitely be coming again & bringing more friends along. The only downside is if you are coming by car, it may be a little tricky to find parking. The restaurant has a few reserved spots but they are tight & very limited. Street parking is available but also limited.

Our family decided to visit this place because it was rated highly on google. To our disappointment, it didn't meet our expectations. We got the baklava pancakes, avocado toast, the shawarma eggs benedict & the makanek hash. I have a peanut allergy & I ordered the baklava pancakes. I'm not allergic to pistachios so I thought it'd be safe. It had big pieces of peanut. Even worse, when we ordered, none of the staff or waitresses asked for any dietary restrictions, unlike all the other restaurants I've been to. Also, some of my family members got a bad stomach ache after eating their meals. Plus, the Avocado Toast was, in my opinion, very over salted. The only positive part is the staff is friendly. The, I assume, manager saw us taking photos & offered to take a group photo. As well as the other staff members who were glad to speak to us in English since we didn't know how to speak French.
Great experience. We shared the baklava pancakes & falafel latke, both were delicious. Portion of the falafel latke was a bit smaller but the pancakes were huge! Did a side of breakfast potatoes as well which were very tasty. Loved the middle eastern fusion in the dishes!
This place was almost perfect. Lovely decor, great service & considerate hosts, who were happy to recommend but left it up to us. The food was almost perfect. Some of the best Lebanese mains I've ever had but sadly the dessert & drinks lacked something. My cocktail was original but didn't seem to have much alcohol in it at all. Personally I like to have fairly strong cocktails as otherwise it just feels like drinking juice. The baklava at the end was some of the worst I've had. Taste wise it was fine but very dry, papery & not something I wanted to finish. It may be that I'm lucky where I live (Austria) with a huge Turkish population & Turkish bakeries. The tiramisu was ok but again we've had better. It really would have been an absolutely 5 star evening if the dessert had been up to the standard of the rest of the meal. It is 100% worth a visit though, & in my opinion not too expensive for the standard they provide.
Very nice & pleasant atmosphere. Service was fantastic The baklava pancake was the ultimate favorite!! I will definitely recomend this to others & would absolutely come back even if it is just for the baklava pancakes just for my baklava pancale fix. The eggs benedict was nice I can get this again, had nice slices of lamb in it. The flavours were well balanced & the poached egg was cooked to perfection. The chicken waffle was okay, it is a good dish just not my cup of tea. The taste of fried chicken for me while I apreciate the juiciness & tenderness of the chicken & how perfectly crispy it was on the outside, I could not help the taste of it reminding me of a giant crispy general tao chicken. Which while I like some times, is not something I personally like as a chicken waffle. The maple syrup can be sweeter(would be nice if it were similar to a au pied cochon maple syrup) I think it may elevate the experience.
