The food was incredible. The dips were awesome. The vegan kebab was epic. I've never had a tastier vegan kebab that had so much flavour & texture. All of the food here was delicious. You will be happy if you do here.
The food at Sham is beyond delicious & the service exceptional - thank you, Halima for your hospitality & warmth. We came for our first time to experience an amazing vegan brunch (omelette & spread platter) & will be back soon for dinner (kebabs!). Very special mint green tea to wrap up a very special meal. Vegan New Yorkers highly recommend!
My husband & I had an incredible meal here the other night. It was our last night in Montreal & had it not been, we would have gone a second time. The staff greeted us like family, welcoming us into the space, answering our questions about the menu with a clear passion for the food. Everything was delicious, well seasoned & presented beautifully. Stand out items were the mouhomara, shish tauouk & kebab hendi. Even the hummus seemed special. The staff showcased other plates as they came out to show us what we could order next time as there were so many options that appealed we had had a hard time deciding what to order. Will definitely be back!
Amazing vegan kebabs/skewers! Best fake beef/lamb/chicken I've had. We got the tasting platter (2 dips, salad, 6 skewers, pita & fries) for $142. A bit pricier than we expected but the portions were large & the quality was great.
Sham Restaurant in Montreal left our family with the most vibrant memories! From the very first minute, we were captivated by its unforgettable atmosphere: a cozy interior with touches of Eastern decor, soft lighting, & the delicate aroma of spices created a warm & welcoming vibe. Traditional music playing in the background added charm, transporting us to distant lands.
The cuisine exceeded all expectations! Every dish was a true work of art. We tried succulent kebabs, hummus that melted in the mouth with a smoky aftertaste, delicious falafels & crispy fries. We adored the sweet baklava, unique homemade lemonades & tea.
A special thanks to the staff! The service was impeccable: the waitstaff attentively accommodated our requests, helped us choose kid-friendly dishes, & smiles never left their faces. You could truly feel how much they value & care for their guests.

La pomme de terre est très savoureuse, tendre à l'intérieur avec une croûte croustillante. La viande est tout simplement incroyable, un chef-d'oeuvre de la cuisine végétalienne.
Le kebab est très délicieux.
La salade est un très bon complément.
Tout est très savoureux, l'ambiance est très agréable, & les gens sont très gentils.

This restaurant is now an absolute favorite of mine. The service was exceptional, our waitress Halima was so incredibly sweet & gave us great advice & options for our meal. We got a mix of Shami Kebab & Shish Tawouk & Shawarma & the food was so delicious we didn't leave a single piece of food on our plates. The atmosphere is warm & I absolutely recommend in every aspect!!
By far the best vegan restaurant in Montreal! My boyfriend & I have tried many vegan restaurants over the years but none compare to sham! First of all the service is great, the employees are super sweet & cater to all your needs & questions. The food is incredible. So flavourful, fresh & good portions! We have come for supper & breakfast & we will for sure be coming back time & time again! My favourite thing to order is the lemon mint juice it is so fresh & delicious! The egg burger has a tasty sauce inside that gives a wonderful flavour to the mushrooms & onions, & the white sauce that is served on the side of the tots is so creamy! The pancakes are nice & crunchy on the outside & fluffy in the middle. The omelette tastes just like real egg but is very light! The shami kebabs are definitely something you need to try, such amazing flavour. All in all 10/10 across the board!
Don't be deceived by the looks, the food does not disappoint. We honestly couldn't believe it was all vegan. Great variety of delicious middle eastern food. The owners were super kind & loving too. Our favorites were the kebab, kibeh & cheese roll.
I have been here a couple of times & the food never disappoints. All dishes are carefully curated & packed with flavor. The kebabs & the shawarma plate are some of my favorites. The owner is also very welcoming & makes the experience even more enjoyable. 10/10 would recommend for a dinner with friends, colleagues & family
I came here for lunch & was very impressed. At first I thought the prices were a little high but when the food came out & I tasted it, I was very happy. It is worth the price. The quality, flavours & presentation were incredible. I became vegan a long time ago & wanted to try the labneh & the lamb kebab & another kebab that resembled ground beef. The flavours & the spices made my mouth water. The labneh isn't as "sour" & salty as I remembered but it was so long ago when I had the dairy I cannot tell. Nonetheless I devoured it. They gave generous portions of salad which I love. Most restos skimp on the salad & give you more fries & rice because it is cheaper than fresh veggies. I would love to try more on the menu but will do so next time with friends so we can go crazy & order a bunch of things to try & share. The waitress is so kind & hospitable. I felt like I was eating at a family member's home. I am looking forward to going again & trying something else from that menu.
We came for lunch on the terasse. All the staff were welcoming & friendly. They were very happy to explain & recommend dishes. We had the kebab & lamb skewers along side the Mulukhiyah: Everything was flavourful, well presented & fresh. Definitely the best vegan meats we have had on the island! The cocktail I was recommended ( the Damascus blossom) was well balanced & paired well with the meal. 10/10 recommend
